Floral Sundress for Summer

Rails sundress // similar heels // Chloe Woody straw bag, similar here

Hiiii, friends! So I pretty much haven’t gotten out of bed for the past two days, but here’s an outfit I wore over the July Fourth weekend. This Rails floral sundress is so pretty for summer – I love the shades of orange, yellow and green, which make it super cheerful. I wore it a few weeks ago with a denim jacket and it’s super cute that way – but it is WAY too hot outside to wear it like that now, haha! We have officially entered into the dog days of summer, where the only time it’s comfortable outside is if you’re in a pool or the ocean! 🙂

Sooo lots going on in my personal life. My birthday is tomorrow (yay!), but I also have two kidney stones right now that I’m waiting to pass (not so yay) and I spent pretty much the entire night on Monday in the emergency room. (If you have any tips for passing kidney stones, please let a girl know!) Kennedy is starting to try solid foods for the first time annnddd the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is next week, so I’ve been busy prepping baby foods and starting to prepare some NSale content for you guys! If you want to go ahead and check out the previews, they released them early this year! You can check them out here.

xoxo

I am so sorry about your kidney stones 😢. I suffer from them, too, and have a hard time passing them due to their size. My best recommendation is to follow a low oxalate diet, limit your caffein and drink lots of water. Hope to hear you are feeling better soon 🥰

I am so sorry to hear about your kidney stones. My uncle gets it and drinking water with a high ph levels always help. I hope it helps for you.

I hope you feel better. This recipe was passed down from a homeopathic doctor in our area and it has worked on my daughter and my husband to help them pass the stone(s):

    1 tsp cherry extract
    pinch of nutmeg
    3 oz. pineapple juice
1 oz. tonic water with quinine

Sip on this multiple times a day until you get relief.

  5. Oh no! I am so, so sorry to learn about your kidney stones and trip to the emergency room. 🙁

I hope you’re feeling much better now. I know this is about to be a hectic week with the NSALE starting. I also hope you had a wonderful birthday despite those recent challenges! <3
