I seriously can’t believe how fast September flew by! Between my brother’s wedding, our family trip to the Inn at Perry Cabin (more on that here!), and a quick weekend in Ocean Isle Beach, it was a busy month — but in the best way. Now I’m packing up for our next adventure… Vermont! The leaves are supposedly turning a few weeks earlier this year, so fingers crossed we hit it right at peak!! We are leaving next week.
September’s best sellers are such a good mix of pieces that ease you into fall and ones you’ll be seeing me wear on repeat all season. Let’s dive in!

10. Amazon Sweater Lounge Set
September came around and I immediately ordered this lounge set. Pair this $45 sweater and shorts lounge set with a homemade pumpkin spice latte (my recipe here) and you’ve got yourself a dreamy fall morning!

9. Amazon Cropped Trench Coat
A cropped trench coat is definitely an ‘in’ trend this season, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on one before making sure I would wear it. This one is only $44 and I’ve already worn it a ton! I love that you can style it belted for a more structured, polished look or unbelted for a casual look.

8. Fall Beauty Products
When the season starts to turn, I like to update my makeup bag with a few new products that are deeper fall colors. This bronzer is beautiful, but dare I say the packaging is even prettier? This lipstick is my new favorite shade (in the color N2 Dolce) – it is the perfect wine/burgundy/plum color for fall. And finally, THIS HAIRBRUSH! I’ve never seen such a beautiful hairbrush – the tortoise color is perfect and it’s small enough to keep in my handbag.

7. Vici Pleated Skort
Some days, a skort > a skirt 100%. I need to be able to chase the girls without my skirt riding up! This herringbone pleated skort is giving all the fall vibes. I love the unique design detail with the asymmetric front. The best part is it’s under $60! (Shop the whole look here.)

6. Abercrombie Cashmere Sweater Shell Top
These shell tops are the perfect layering piece. You can wear them under a blazer or jacket if it’s not super chilly outside, or you can wear it over a basic tee or long sleeve to dress your look up a little more. This one comes in a few colors and it’s 100% cashmere so the quality is soooo good! (Shop the whole look here.)

5. Good American Rugly Stripe Polo Minidress
I love dresses you can just throw on and go, so this striped polo dress was a no brainer! I wore it with rainboots while we were in Maryland exploring during a rain storm, but I have also worn it with sneakers when I’m running the girls to school. It’s definitely an oversized fit, so if you’re between sizes, I would size down! (Shop the whole look here.)

4. Free People Brown Faux Suede Shorts
These are packed in my suitcase for Vermont (you can get a sneak peek at how I’m wearing them here)! The faux suede is so good and the rich chocolate brown color is perfect for fall. Even better, they’re less than $90!! (Shop the whole look here.)

3. Ralph Lauren Cable Knit Sweater
This sweater is giving everything I love about fall in one piece – classic cable knit, Ralph Lauren, and perfect for layering. This quality is exactly what you’d expect (so good), and the little gold button detail just makes it feel more elevated. There’s only a few left so grab it while you can! (Shop the whole look here.)

2. Free People Kenzie Sweater Set
First, I’m going to call out that the website has it listed as shorts, but it’s actually a skirt! I grabbed this set in the cream color and dressed it up with one of my favorite pairs of boots this season for a chic little fall look. I love mixing jackets and boots with skirts when we’re in that weird in-between weather – cool enough to layer, but not full-on cold outside just yet. (Shop the whole look here.)

1. I.N.C. Fawne Leather Riding Boots
If you follow me on Instagram or LTK, you’ve probably seen these boots a few times already – they’re just that good. The shape is super flattering (they hug your calves in the best way), the leather is beautiful, and they’re one of those shoes you can wear all day without regretting it by lunch. I styled them with shorts here, a denim skirt here, and a white pleated skirt here. The options are endless with these boots! They’re currently on sale for $133!!!!
Which one is your favorite?! xoxo
I absolutely love sweater dresses and definitely need to pick up the two Amazon ones! Thanks for sharing 🙂

I love every look! Beautiful!
You have inspired me so much this week. I found your blog and honestly I needed to revamp my life. I work full time from home now, wasn’t getting out of my pajamas, and was quite honestly uninspired. I started by purchasing a similar outfit that you had on this month, which I would share with you my version but your page doesn’t let us upload images, but I started laying out my outfit each night, putting together my jewelry and accessories, then I moved to my house. I have totally revamped who I am as a result of seeing your blog. I know that sounds crazy, but thank you for inspiring me to be a better me. My husband, my friends and family have all seen the difference and I am sure they would you thank you too!
I absolutely adore your style! <3
Sooo many great pieces featured here! I’m especially loving all of your neutral looks! Fall is my favorite season to dress for and I’m so glad the weather is finally cooling down here in the Carolinas. Makes me so happy!

Hi Caitlin,
I was wondering the brand of your balloon sleeve sweater in picture 7 (the one that you talk about your Ugg booties. I know you said that you bought it last year but I would love to know the brand of it. Thanks so much! ❤️ Stevie
What size in the white sweater dress are you wearing?
size small!
Lovely outfits. You are so fall ready. I didn’t even electronically move my fall winter clothes yet from the back to the front. Its been too warm here. Still wearing dresses, skirts, bikinis, open toe shoes etc here. Probably after Columbus day for fall weather. Today was the first day I even wore jeans since mid May. Wearing white jeans with a orange crop top paired with a blazer for office only and black high heel flip flop style sandals. Mule/flip flop style sandals works well with jeans. Work boyfriend loves the outfit. He does miss the dress. He gets that next week.
Such gorgeous finds! The Ralph Lauren top is divine!
