My Favorite Podcasts

Hey guys, and happy Tuesday! I got a lot of DMs/emails about the podcast I mentioned in yesterday’s blog post, so I thought I’d dedicate an entire post to sharing some of my favorite ones with you today. I looove podcasts, I always listen to them in the car, even if I’m going on a short drive! They’re also really nice to listen to while you’re cleaning. If you have a favorite that I didn’t mention, please let us all know in the comments! Oh and P.S. all of these outfit details are linked below 🙂

The Ultimate Health Podcast

This is the podcast that I mentioned in yesterday’s blog post – this episode in particular is the exact one – it’s sooo good and eye-opening! Marni and Jesse are great hosts and they have a slew of top doctors, authors and health experts on to their podcast every week. I always take away something from their episodes and feel educated/enlightened about health. They have a lot of episodes, so I like to scroll back and listen to ones that interest me.

How I Built This

This is such a good one if you’re looking for some business inspiration! Guy Raz dives into the stories behind some of the world’s best known companies and interviews their founders. It’s incredible to see how some companies started so small, and how the founders built them into million- and billion-dollar companies! My favorite episodes have been about Whole Foods, Kendra Scott, and Rent the Runway.

Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu

My brother introduced me to this one – Tom Bilyeu is INCREDIBLY inspirational. If you need some inspiration to find your passion in life and live life to the fullest, or simply a pick-me-up, then this is the podcast for you. He interviews some really great people, but also does these amazing Q&A episodes called “AMAs” and those are some of the most fun to listen to.

Young House Love Has a Podcast

I found this podcast randomly one day when looking for podcasts about home renovations (I was really interested in learning about it for our beach condo). Sherry and John Petersik are like the couple next door that you really want to be friends with haha. They talk about home improvement, design, life at home and ALWAYS have useful tips that I can implement in my house. For example, they did an episode where they talked about how to pick out the right sheets and pillows for your bed (whether it’s your master bedroom or a guest bedroom) and make it look as comforting and “photographable” as a magazine or catalogue. I ended up using all of their tips!

My Favorite Murder

This one is for all of you people who are interested in true crime. Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark are two hilarious women, and each episode they talk about their “favorite” murder that week. Some of the episodes can be gruesome and hard to listen to, but they somehow make it enjoyable, and I always come back for more. ONLY listen to this if you like true crime! P.S. Let me know if you’re a murderino 🙂

Like I said above, comment and let us know your favorite podcast if you have one! xoxo

Murderino AND Young House Love groupie! I have been reading their blog for years and was so excited when they introduced the podcast. I look forward to listening on my Monday morning commute.

Have you listened to any of the podcasts Karen and Georgia have put on their network? Murder Squad and The Fall Line are fantastic.

  11. I listen to podcasts all week long at work, so I’m really looking forward to checking these out! I love Chrisley Confessions – it’s Todd and Julie Chrisley (from Chrisley Knows Best). I also love The Bachelor so all of the former contestants’ podcasts I love 🙂

  12. I love Suspense/Murder podcasts, even if their stories!
“Dr. Death” which is based on real life. A doctor based in Dallas, TX did some horrible things to his patients during their surgeries.
“Dirty John”, is about an older man that seeks out relationships with women his age/or older and takes advantage of their money/lifestyle and uses them. It also leads to him TRYING to murder someone!
“Stay Alive”, is a series podcast about Zombie Survival – Can’t wait for Pt 3 “Goldrush” coming soon!
“Black Out”, which I’m currently listening to, is a Suspense podcast about the country blacks out and his family have to survive! It stars celebrity, Rami Malek!

  13. I’m definitely going to check these out! Especially the true crime one!

My favorites are: WHOA! That’s Good with Sadie Robertson & Style Your Mind with Cara Alwill Leyba! Sadie’s is a very faith based podcast that is sure to put you in a positive mood! She interviews people that she looks up to and asks them “what is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given” – so awesome! Cara’s is a total kick-butt podcast about how to shape your mind so that you can accomplish anything you want!

  14. Love this list! I would never think to listen to a home reno podcast but now I’m intruiged, and I’m all about wellness and clean beauty, etc so I’m going to listen to that first one.

If you’re looking for a great Christian podcast, two I’ve become recently obsessed with are Abiding Together and That Sounds Fun. Abiding Together is a little deeper and more specifically religious, while That Sounds Fun is an interview setting with various guests who all happen to be Christian so it’s more conversational. Both are so wonderful and always leave me in a great mood, feeling grateful for our good God and inspired in ways to grow closer to Him and to others around me!

  17. My favorite podcasts are The Porch and Views From the Porch. They’re both done by Watermark church out of Dallas, but have different settings. The Porch is the sermon series that they do everybody Tuesday night for their young adults group and are always so good. Views From the Porch is a more conversational setting that discusses various hot topics from a Christian worldview which is always so interesting! Love this list!
