Little Red Dress + Where We Stayed in NYC

STYLESTALKER red dress, THIS ONE is similar & less expensive
MAC lipstick in “impassioned” // Gucci disco bag, similar bags here
You simply can’t go wrong with a red dress, but especially a lace one and especially especially one with a low back. πŸ˜‰ This dress from STYLESTALKER is just stunning – I knew I had to have it for New York when I saw it online! The lace detailing is very intricate and feminine… and the low back is playful and flirty. (P.S. This one is very similar but more affordable!)
Also want to put in a quite note about my Gucci bag from Luisaviaroma – if you’re looking for a new designer handbag or item for the fall, this is the place to look! I ordered my handbag from there a few weeks ago and it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. They carry almost every designer so there are a lot of options. I’m particularly loving their selection of Gucci bags this year!
I also wanted to share a little bit about where we stayed in New York… the 54th floor of the Mandarin Oriental! I can’t even express in words the incredible views from the room, so I’m including some photos, below. If you ever want to visit NYC, I highly recommend the Mandarin. We were treated like royalty the minute we walked in – and every single room is guaranteed a good view, considering the hotel starts on the 35th floor of the building! There are two restaurants in the hotel (located on the 35th floor), a casual lounge that serves lunch and a fine dining restaurant (where we had breakfast every morning). The location was perfect… steps away from Central Park and a short walk to the Plaza and tons of shops and restaurants. Oh and every single room has cozy robes, slippers, an amazing bath tub AND floor-to-ceiling windows *insert heart eye emoji here*

What are y’all’s plans this weekend?! Hopefully something fun! This morning I’m off on another adventure with one of my close blogging friends. My flight leaves at 5 a.m., so I have to be awake and driving by 3 a.m…. my boyfriend even has an alarm set on his phone just to call me to make sure I’m awake in time! Fingers crossed. (Side note – be sure to follow along on instagram/snapchat to see where we’re headed… if I wake up in time! πŸ˜‰

xoxo

  5. Glad you had fun. NYC is awesome, and I love living here. The Mandarin costs like $800 a night. Did they sponsor this post or did you get a good deal you could share?
