Christmas Vibes

After spending a few days in winter wonderland (aka Asheville), I’m realizing all of my outfits are starting to look similar – lol! I think I’ve only been dressing in shades of red, white and tan every day in December. And I’m okay with that! This Free People tunic sweater is the MOST comfortable tunic, especially for pregnancy! It’s super soft, flowy and I love the trendy slits on the side. Since it’s a neutral color, you can wear it the rest of winter, too. So far I’ve worn it with my Marc Fisher Izzie boots (shown) and my comfy UGG boots!

We are leaving Asheville and going home today after a very relaxing couple of days. Chris and I were joking that it was almost too relaxing – yesterday we ran out of things to do and just watched Netflix in our hotel room, haha! I think we both thrive when we feel productive, so we are looking forward to being back home and the routine of regular life. We had a great time, though – we ate SO MUCH GOOD FOOD!!! I’m sure baby fattened up by a couple of pounds on this trip, hahah!

P.S. If you’re still searching for gifts, Nordstrom released a bunch of gift guides for everyone on your list, including women, men and kids!

What size are you wearing for the tunic sweater? I’m pregnant too and don’t want to go too small (obviously) but also don’t want to go too big

    • I got the XS! It is VERY oversized, if anything I would size down rather than size up 🙂

I love Asheville and have been wanting to check out Biltmore during the holiday season because I hear it’s beautiful. Loved seeing glimpses of it on your stories!

Have you found any similar, more affordable boots? Absolutely love those but they are a a little out of my price range.

  10. I’ve been so happy with these boots!! Got them last year when I saw your photo. I protect them at all costs . Glad to hear you took some time to relax. Being productive feels great when balanced out with recharge days. I’ve really been enjoying all your outfits this year (you ALWAYS nail it). They are similar but all different to someone whose into fashion! I love how easy these pieces are to mix and match. It makes you feel like your saving money because you get so many more outfits out of it. And of course makes for a cohesive Instagram feed look (; haha! Have a great weekend !

I have no idea how you visited Asheville and sat in your hotel room. Such a beautiful place to visit and a shame wasting your getaway.

    • Hey Anne, I promise we didn’t “waste” our getaway! We had three activity-filled days, but on the fourth day we just felt ready to come home (also, a ton of things were closed due to COVID!).
