Black & Tan

Good morning and happy Tuesday, friends! I took yesterday off to celebrate Labor Day with my fam (even though we didn’t do anything interesting, just stuff around the house). I think you already know by now that I love the sweater vest trend, and here’s how you can make it work for transitional weather – just add a miniskirt and boots! The skirt I’m wearing is actually not a skirt, though, it’s a skort, and one of my favorite items in my wardrobe. I own it in three different colors and am constantly finding new ways to wear it (if you scroll back on my Instagram feed, you’ll see it a few times). I also love these slouchy booties, as they’re a fresh take on your traditional booties.

Did everyone have a good weekend? Chris and I went to the Clemson game in Charlotte this past weekend and it was sooo fun but, holy cow, we were exhausted afterwards! Chris wore his FitBit the entire day and we figured out that we walked more than seven miles on Saturday. We stayed at a hotel in uptown Charlotte, so it was really easy to walk to different restaurants, coffee shops and even the football stadium. Unfortunately, Clemson did not win the game, so my husband’s Sunday wasn’t that great. *sorry babe*

Talk soon!

  5. WOW I don’t normally pair black and brown together, but here you make it look so chic! Also absolutely crushing on your black Chanel puffy bag — such a fun trend and it’s GORG!
