The cherry trees are blooming… and so are my cravings for bright colors and fun patterns. I found it all in this Lilly Pulitzer peplum top via Zappos! I love the flirty flounce and the fitted shape of this top, especially when paired with skinny jeans. This top will definitely be coming along with me on my family’s annual beach vacation this summer! Also, you may notice the scar on my left arm… I had surgery a few months ago to remove an irregular mole with abnormal cells. Take this is a warning to always wear sunscreen and to get regular skin checks!! (Which is why I’ll be bringing my big sun hat to the beach this year.)

Also this is really really REALLY random. But this past Thursday, I was on my way to Go Blog Social in Kansas City and ending up meeting John, who was on his way to South Carolina for his cousin's wedding…. his flight was cancelled the next day but he still ended up going on a later flight and said he met you there!!!!!!!!! Random, poor guy had no idea what a fashion blog was, I was trying to explain it to him and then he meets two within a couple days! Anyway, sorry, didn't mean to be creepy, it was just so random, he text me (I am trying to hook him up with my friend 🙂 ) and said he met the girl behind Southern Curls and Pearls and I was so jealous because I love your blog!!!!!!!!!!! Bahahahaha…. so funny! I was trying to explain fashion blogging to him. It is REALLY hard to explain to my family and friends let alone strangers LOL. It would have been so fun to meet you!
