How to Mix Patterns

Sole Society plaid scarf // B.P. striped top // Splendid jeggings
Fall outfits are my very favorite… probably because bundling up in layers provides plenty of opportunities to mix patterns! My advice on mixing patterns is always to try it on because you just never know. In theory, you wouldn’t think that this this leopard clutch would go with this plaid scarf, but I actually love how playful and chic they look when paired together! The key is also not to mix TOO many patterns. Stick with two or three, and they should have a similar color scheme.

I also want to point out the cute wedge booties I’m wearing from Sole Society! I have been wearing Sole Society booties for several years now and the quality is unmatched for the price. The booties I’m wearing in particular fit true-to-size and are really comfortable – I wore them for a full day of walking around the Highlands this past weekend. I’m linking up a bunch of cute items from Sole Society below!

I hope everyone has a great Thursday!

Also, have you done a post on your jewelry go-to items or how to pick out jewelry? I struggle so much to have some everyday items (especially bracelets and rings!). You have such great accessories!
