Jamaica Instagram Recap

bow bikini top // Zinke swimsuit bottoms // floral kimono (out of stock), similar styles here & here

Happy Saturday, friends! I wanted to do a full recap of my trip to Jamaica… and this is the last time I'll speak about it I promise! For those of you who are wanting to take a vacation, Emily and I stayed at the Oasis at Sunset in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It's a quick 15 minutes trip from the airport (which is great because Jamaica is not the safest place) and it's simply BEAUTIFUL there. It's also all-inclusive which means that the food/drinks are all included in the cost of the trip.

We got there on Tuesday and immediately put on our swimsuits… the resort was beachfront and had a gorgeous view of the mountains. Also, I was dying to bring out this bow bikini (above) - I got it in white so that I could pair it with a bunch of different bathing suit bottoms! The photo below was the outfit I wore on the plane that day… this sweater is one of the most comfortable items I own.

yellow sweater (seriously my favorite sweater right now!) // similar jeans

One of my favorite parts of the resort was the colorful flowers everywhere! I wore this dress to dinner the first night… can you spy the little straw huts in the background?

We woke up on the second day and immediately went down to breakfast… we were really tired so we were double fisting both coffee and diet coke (aka "coke lite"!) Then we put on our bathing suits and headed to the beach.

Seriously gorg right?? After laying out, we dressed up for lunch and tried jerk chicken for the first time (which was actually amazing). My lunch outfit is below...

tassel bracelet set // Kendra Scott ring // Pixi polish in "summer pink"

The rest of the trip was really fun and included a lot of eating, diet coke, and girl time with Em! If you follow me on snapchat you may have seen our music videos we made while we were there… it may have been my favorite part of the entire trip! We had a blast making them (y'all should have seen the outtakes lol!).

parrot dress // Jimmy Choo pink heels // Loren Hope earrings

Michael Kors watch // beaded sunglasses case // Prada sunglasses // Jimmy Choo pink heels

Can we talk about this cute striped romper?? I wore it for a walk on the beach one day and am a little obsessed!

blue striped romper // jeweled sandals (sold out), similar here

This was my outfit for dinner in Jamaica on the last night… we went to the Asian restaurant at the resort's sister hotel and it was AMAZING. Sweet & sour chicken is my jam! It was also a really sad night because we knew it was the last one!

peplum dress (only available in pink right now) // pink Valentino clutch // Tory Burch wedges

If you have any questions about Jamaica or the resort, feel free to ask in the comments! It was a wonderful trip… today and yesterday have been cold and rainy in Charlotte so I am definitely missing it! I really can't recommend Jamaica enough… I already want to plan another trip back there.

  16. These photos look absolutely breathtaking! You are so lucky to live in the states, going to the Caribbean has been on my list forever, but it's so much more expensive from Europe. Hopefully I will get a chance once I stop being a student :)

  24. You know I really like your blog, but to just put out there that Jamaica "isn't the safest place" is pure bs. You know what? The U.S. isn't the safest place either. Your chances of getting mugged are greater here in the U.S. than they are in Jamaica. I travel to Jamaica almost every other year and have never ONCE had a problem. Typical rich white girl problem where you assume because you see a ghetto that everyone is out to get you and your Valentino Rockstuds.
