DIY: Gold Animals

Happy Monday!
Today I have a super easy DIY for your desk that involves only two things:
I happened to be in Hobby Lobby over the weekend and saw these precious little animal figurines. All of the sudden, it hit me! I remembered something I had seen on pinterest and knew exactly what to do with these cuties.
We already had this gold Krylon spray paint, so I sprayed a couple of coats outside, let them dry overnight, and voila!

Desk animals!
I painted both a pig and elephant, but my favorite is this guy:

With this DIY, you can get insanely creative. What about desk dinosaurs? Kitties? Flamingos? A whole farm village of gold animals? (Okay, maybe that’s taking it a little too far.)
But the list does go on and on!
Not quite sold? Before I leave you, here’s more desk inspiration…

Easy as pie, and super cute. Have fun πŸ™‚

Love, Cait

  20. We are completely on the same wavelength….today I was going nuts with my gold spray paint! This is super cute. I just bought a lot of white elephants on Etsy, but they are going to have to stay white for our decor in the living room. Maybe I will look for an elephant to do gold for my desk since my desk has gold legs. Also…elephant with a trunk up is good luck, so you got it right.

Interesting blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?
A theme like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog shine.
Please let me know where you got your design.
