What to Wear Christmas Tree Shopping…

Caslon cable knit sweater cape // white long sleeve tee // Topshop jeans (size up one)
Hunter boots // similar YSL bag // MK watch // David Yurman link bracelet, cuff bracelet
MAC lipstick in “impassioned”

One of my favorite brands that Nordstrom carries is Caslon… They have THE cutest selection of sweaters, including the cape I’m wearing. For a normal day, I probably would have paired the cape with booties or riding boots, but since we were headed to a Christmas tree farm I opted for bright red Hunter boots instead. They were perfect for the task of picking out a Christmas tree! (P.S. If any of you live in North Carolina, we went to Little Switzerland Tree Farm – they have really beautiful trees.)

Side note – this poncho would also be incredibly cute with a striped turtleneck underneath 🙂

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I saw the new Hunger Games movie & it was amazing. I also caught up on sleep – it’s going to be a busy week as we prepare for Thanksgiving!

  7. That looks like such a cozy sweater. You are so smart to wear rainboots because those farms can be so muddy sometimes and your Hunters are the perfect Christmas red-very pretty!

  11. I wouldn't wear white while shopping for a tree, but that's just me. I usually come over covered in sap and pine needles. Thick leather gloves are also key because those needles hurt! But then again, I grew up where we had to drag a 14+ft tree out out of the back lot of a farm every year.
