Travel Guide: Palm Beach, FL

Good morning everyone!! (and happy Friday!!) Today I wanted to recap my recent trip to Palm Beach, Florida, and tell you all about where we stayed, the Brazilian Court Hotel. First I’ll be sharing all of our Instagram photos from the trip, so scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post for the full recap on our trip!
(Below photo) We arrived! This is what the courtyard looks like at the Brazilian Court – it’s GORGEOUS with lots of comfortable seating!

This is the pool at the Brazilian Court Hotel! It’s surrounded by luscious green palm trees and lounge chair with fluffy white towels.

Palm Beach arguably has the best shopping in the United States!!! Just take a walk down Worth Avenue and you’ll see what I mean.
French fries by the pool – sounds like a perfect afternoon to me!
We dined at a bunch of amazing restaurants in Palm Beach, including this Italian restaurant!
Our hotel, the Brazilian Court, had dozens of bikes that you could take out for the day. We had so much fun riding around one afternoon, exploring the little island.
The restaurant on the property, Cafe Boulud, serves an amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner. You HAVE to order the white cosmopolitan – it’s the best drink I’ve ever had in my life! Plus there’s a floating orchid in it!
Yes, that is a flowering wall of REAL orchids… 🙂

Where to Stay:

The Brazilian Court Hotel: We had a wonderful experience at the Brazilian Court! It’s this gorgeous and intimate little boutique hotel situated right smack dab in the middle of Palm Beach, just a few blocks from the ocean and a few blocks from the iconic Worth Avenue. Surrounded by luscious greenery, flowers and palm trees, we at once felt relaxed and at home! My mom and I stayed in a “luxurious studio” room which was incredibly spacious at 400 square feet. There was a king bed, two closets, a desk, full-length mirror, shower, jacuzzi bath tub and two sinks. In the courtyard of the hotel you’ll find the restaurant, Cafe Boulud, as well as plenty of comfortable seating to lounge and enjoy a glass of rosé. The pool is also BEAUTIFUL and incredibly relaxing! All of the lounge chairs have fluffy white towels on them, and a waitress will bring you whatever food or drinks you desire (definitely try the truffle fries!). My mom and I also worked out at the hotel’s gym, which was small but had all of the equipment we needed for a full workout. We also took out the hotel’s bikes one afternoon for a relaxing and scenic ride around Palm Beach.

Where to Eat:

Cafe Boulud: Cafe Boulud is Chef Daniel Boulud’s award-winning restaurant located at the Brazilian Court. We ate here a ton! We ordered room service (try the chocolate croissant), ate breakfast on the patio (order the mini waffles) and had a four-course dinner with wine pairings (don’t even get me started OMG so good). The service was wonderful and fast, and the food was beyond delicious. I mentioned this above but you MUST order a white cosmopolitan – it’s Cafe Boulud’s signature cocktail and the best drink I’ve ever had in my life! It’s made with white cranberry juice and St. Germain and topped with an orchid ice ball. SO GOOD. For dessert, you must get the little mini-lemon muffins! They tasted just like the ones in Italy!!

Bice Restaurant: Located on Worth Avenue, you absolutely have to dine on the patio here for a wonderful flower-filled view. Bice has authentic italian cuisine, my mom and I both felt that we were transported back to Italy! Try the zucchini flowers and the penne pasta.

Ta-Boo: If you’re looking for a fancy or romantic date-night spot, Ta-Boo is it. Try the salmon or steak. By the way, the restaurant itself is GORGEOUS and you will definitely want to take a picture of the bougainvillea-covered front door!

Pizza Al Fresco: This was the perfect casual lunch spot for enjoying pizza al fresco, located on Worth Avenue. My mom and I ordered the margherita pizza and it did not disappoint! We saw lots of families and children enjoying lunch here so it’s great if you have kids!

What to Do:

Shop: Palm Beach is arguably home to the best shopping in the United States (even rivaling Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles). If you have expensive taste, there’s Gucci, Chanel, Neiman Marcus, Tiffany’s, Valentino, and some of the cutest little boutiques you’ve ever seen. There’s also a large mall nearby with some more affordable stores like H&M and Nordstrom!

Go to the Beach or Pool: There’s a beautiful beach in Palm Beach, located just a couple of blocks away from The Brazilian Court. While we were in Florida they were experiencing really high winds, so we didn’t spend any time there, but I think normally it’s pretty calm! We opted to spend some time by the pool, soaking up the sun and eating french fries.

Take Pictures!: Without a doubt, Palm Beach is one of the prettiest places I’ve ever been. It honestly doesn’t feel like you’re in the United States! Orchids sprout from the walls and tree trunks, flowering bougainvillea covers gorgeous doorways, and pink and blue potted hydrangeas adorn every walkway. Definitely visit Worth Avenue and its nearby neighborhoods for the prettiest picture-taking spots!

  7. Hey, Caitlin! Have you ever worn blue light blocking glasses? I ordered mine a few months ago to wear while writing papers for class or looking at the computer for a long period of time. I think they have helped me tremendously!
