If there’s one “trend” I’m obsessing over for fall, it’s the French Girl look! Yes, it’s a thing – I’ve even seen girls on Instagram stuffing loaves of bread into their handbags to get the look (lol). While I don’t think I’ll go *that* far (although who knows, having a loaf of bread around at all times might not be a bad thing for this hungry pregnant mama), I definitely plan on stealing a few style cues from the French this autumn. This means lots of neutral colors, stripes (lots of stripes!) and always comfortable footwear.

This ruched body-con dress is SO comfortable, flattering, and makes the perfect neutral “base” to build out an outfit. I purposefully sized up one size so that I could wear this dress now and into my third trimester. It’s actually still a little loose in the stomach area right now, but I know I’ll be very glad to have the space a few months from now! (If you’re not rocking a bump, I would suggest going with your normal size.) Converse Chuck Taylors are a French girl favorite, and of course, a classic Chanel bag to boot. And the final touch, if you really want the look, is a nice striped tee, hung casually over your shoulders.
