The Lust List

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I thought it would be fun to share my “lust list” this week – some items that I’ve been lusting over!
soft pink robe // I’m forever on the hunt for the softest, coziest robe. This Kate Spade one has a precious bow on the back!
espresso machine // I’ve wanted an espresso machine for years and years – I would love to be able to make my own lattes, macchiatos and Americanos at home. Now that we are moving into a house, I think I’m going to finally bite the bullet and get one! The only problem is that they’re SO expensive and I don’t know which one to get – this Breville espresso maker seems like a good option (it includes a milk frother!) but does anyone own it? I would love your opinions!
clear coffee mugs // If you’re going to splurge on an espresso machine, then you definitely need the clear espresso mugs! I found these monogrammed ones that I really want to order with my new monogram *insert cheesy grin here*
leopard pouch // This leopard pouch (and the clutch version) has been on my wish list for a while now. I love the “snow leopard” print, it’s a really fresh and fun take on the typical leopard print.
a new watch // Eery time fall rolls around, I start craving a new watch to go with fall outfits! How gorgeous is this Michele Deco Madison watch? I probably won’t purchase it, but it won’t stop me from staring at it online, haha!
Barefoot Dreams shawl // I ordered this Barefoot Dreams shawl in the “dove grey” color (you may have seen it on my Instagram last night), and I love it so much that I’m tempted to order it in every color! (Okay not every color but at least one more!) It feels just like you’re wearing a big blanket, and it even has POCKETS. Hello, new favorite fall item!
bareMinerals cleansing oil // If you’ve been following my blog for the past year or so, you may know that I’m obsessed with bareMinerals cleansing oil to wash my face (and I attribute it to helping clear my skin of adult acne!). I ran out a couple of months ago and my skin has definitely taken a toll – I’ll be ordering some more today!
Gucci handbag // Okay but really, isn’t this Gucci Marmont satchel the prettiest handbag you’ve ever seen? I love the pearls and gorgeous blush pink color!
What are you lusting over this week?!
xoxo

  3. Yes, my husband and I own the Breville and we absolutely love it. We use it at least once a day. Also, if you go to Bed Bath and Beyond with a 20% off coupon you can get it for cheaper!

  4. The shawl looks so comfortable! I think if I bought it, then I wouldn't take it off.

I was wondering what the cardigan was from your bookstore IG post and I check your blog today and here it is! Thanks! It looks so cozy, perfect for falls cooler days with a book and maybe a pumpkin latte.

  6. I have a different espresso machine that we got as a wedding gift but I would definitely recommend getting one now that you'll have a little more counter space in a house! I don't use mine every day but it's nice to make a little bit fancier of a coffee beverage on the weekends–just feels a little more luxurious to curl up on the couch with a latte! Our guests always feel pampered having a yummy latte or cappuccino prepared for them in the morning!

  7. You NEED an espresso maker, I got one for Christmas a couple of years ago and it's been really nice to have! There's nothing like a lazy weekend morning relaxing with a fresh latte made right at home. Still haven't mastered that latte art yet though… ha! My advice would be to invest in a either a machine with a really good quality milk frother, or a good stand-alone milk frother if the machine you choose doesn't have one built in. Cheap milk frothers just don't work and you'll end up frustrated with flat milk!

  9. The grey travel shawl looks like the cozies sweater ever! I have a flight (24 hour flight) to Bali in October and this might have to join me 🙂

  11. I have that exact espresso machine! I. LOVE. IT. There was definitely a bit of a learning curve at first (my kitchen was covered in almond milk the first time I tried the frother lol but my cat was loving it!) After practice and many YouTube videos I finally have it down! It's so simple and takes me less than 5 minutes in the morning – I definitely recommend!!

  12. I wanted an espresso maker for years but they are expensive and take up so much counter space. I actually went with the Ninja Coffee Bar, it makes regular coffee but also espressos and iced coffee. It comes with a frother too!

  13. I've totally been wanting an espresso machine too! Because one, they are delicious and two, they have a really cool, vintage look to them. Would look so great in any kitchen!

  14. I absolutely love my espresso maker! I just got married in June and it was on my registry! If you can wait out those months then put that on your registry 🙂 so worth the wait… also, we got a roomba from our registry, with your new home together this is also ahhhhmazing!

  21. We got a De'Longhi espresso machine for our wedding and we LOVE it!! We've used it every day for over 3 years – and with a baby now we really really love it! It's an investment for sure, but it's more than paid for itself.

  22. I LOVE that Gucci bag, it's so beautiful! I just ran out of that cleanser last night! I love how it doesn't dry out my skin!

  23. I personally own a Nespresso and it's super convenient. Why not register for the espresso machine you want rather than buy it?!?!

  24. Have the same espresso maker, just the updated version, and LOVE it! FYI, the updated version is a little cheaper on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Breville-BES870XL-Barista-Express-Espresso/dp/B00CH9QWOU.

  25. I don't have the Breville but I did invest in a Krupps. Best decision ever. It's similar to this one you have listed. I don't even go to Starbucks anymore, unless I'm out of town. It is money well spent. And you can try all types of espresso beans. I do however order the Starbucks vanilla syrup on amazon because like the way it taste in my vanilla lattes better than any of the others I have tried.

  26. Loving your lust list picks, Cait! I love an oversized, slouched cardigan for Autumn – especially here in England where the weather seems to plummet! Ha!

    I hope you're having a lovely Wednesday!

  27. My husband and I resgisteted for that espresso maker and luckily got it as a wedding gift! It works great! My husband LOVES it! He makes espresso with it multiple times a day and loves when people come over so he can make them espresso. Highly recommended and worth the price!

  28. Basically obsessed with everything Barefoot Dreams right now after the N-Sale!!

  29. I have that espresso machine and it has CHANGED my life!! My boyfriend and I are huge coffee enthusiast and we honestly have never had better lattes before. In a year it will have paid for itself just in how much money we've saved instead of going to coffeeshops multiple times a week! For beans, get Lavazza Super Crema Espresso from Amazon! It makes for the smoothest lattes (no bitterness like Starbucks).

  30. I'm glad I'm not the only one wanting a new watch for my fall wardrobe! And some Gucci bag is always on my wish list

  31. We were going to get that Breville espresso machine but we went with the Nespresso De'Longhi. It also has a milk frother! My husband and I love it! We also have clear mugs but I might just have to get these mammogram ones!

    That Gucci bag is gorgeous!

  33. I own that exact espresso machine!!! I got it for my husband for his birthday last year after doing a lot of research, and I call it "the gift that keeps on giving", we love it! I do advise that you clean it regularly and change the filters when they recommend for optimum performance, but we have been so so happy with it! I love putting a shot or two in chocolate milk for a quick iced mocha, it's super delish and has saved us money in the long run! I defiantly recommend :). ~Stephanie (Basilchic)

  34. We own a Breville espresso maker! I don't drink coffee so I've never used it but my husband loves it! We've also gifted one to a friend because he raved about it whenever he came to visit. 🙂

  35. I did a ton of research and bought a DeLonghi Magnifica semi-automatic espresso machine. There's no milk tank so we use a capresso frither so we do t have to stand and hold the milk for frothing. It's the perfect combo for us.
