When the rest of the girls arrived (all bloggers!), we went and changed clothes for a cocktail party and dinner that night. At the party we learned a ton of facts about the cruise ship (for example, there are 15 decks, a surf simulator, rock-climbing wall, miniature golf course and ICE SKATING RINK all on the ship!). Here’s all of the girls at the cocktail party…

After a delicious italian dinner (I ordered two different types of pasta because I couldn’t decide), a bunch of us went to one of the ship’s lounges for a silent dance party. This was one of my favorites parts of the entire trip! If you’ve never been to a silent dance party, it’s really cool… the entire room is silent, but everyone has on headphones that are playing the same song, and EVERYONE is dancing. It’s really funny though because if you take off your headphones, it’s just a bunch of people dancing in silence! My friends and I love to dance so we had a blast!
We left the ship around 8 that morning and took a bus over to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. The bus ride over was beautiful…
And the resort itself was even more beautiful! I mentioned this in my Instagram photo, but does anyone remember the Mary Kate & Ashley movie “Holiday in the Sun?” I couldn’t stop thinking of that movie the entire time I was there! I had a serious obsession with the Olsen twins when I was younger, and I still love them to this day.
We spent the entire day laying out on the beach… A selfie was a must! We were so lucky it was in the 80s and sunny the entire time we were there.

I love cruises, they are seriously the best way to travel in my opinion! I´ve done a few Mediterranean ones and one in Norway when I was younger, but would LOVE to go to the Caribbean, it has been on my list for the better part of a decade haha! Looks like so much fun and now I think I´m going to watch Holiday in the Sun because I´ve been on an Olsen twins kick lately anyway 🙂

So happy you enjoyed your cruise on the Freedom of the Seas. Since it usually only does seven night cruises–you got a great opportunity to explore the ship and go to the Bahamas. I've done the Eastern Caribbean cruise to St. Thomas and St. Maarten several times and know the Hotel Director of the Freedom very well! It's such a fun time…I'm very "loyal to Royal." I went on that exact same ship for my honeymoon! We did the 7 day cruise! We loved it!

I've been on this boat! We went last year and it was definitely fun! My fiance and I had a few laughs because you couldn't walk 5 feet without some attendant offering you some "purel" to keep your hands sanitized.. And the free ice cream was pretty awesome too!

OMG. this was such a fun post to read. I LOVED the cruise I took to the bahamas. I don't know if they still have it, but when I was on the Royal Caribbean ship, they had all you can eat self serve ice cream. HA. Hope they had that on yours!!! Loving all of your tropical outfits. Oh and Holiday in The Sun?! hahahaha. Didn't you feel like you were the Olsen twins when you were there? My sister and I couldn't stop giggling the entire time trying to recreate the movie.
