Pretty in Pink

After Christmas, I always find myself gravitating towards pastel colors. Gone are the days of red and green, and I find myself longing for brighter, sunnier days and warmer weather. Even though the weather is still freezing and likely will be for several more months, you can still dress in pretty colors! This off-the-shoulder sweater dress is the prettiest pink color, and somehow even fits over my 38-week bump hahah! I paired it with this double-breasted plaid coat, which happens to be on sale for $24 with code EXTRA50. I think the two together really gives off an “Elle Woods” vibe and I happen to love it. ๐Ÿ™‚

How was everyone’s Christmas and New Year’s?! I took last week off from blogging, but it’s really nice to be back! Chris had the week off from work, too, so we got a ton of things done around the house. We also made some progress on the nursery and our hospital bags are officially packed. It could still be a couple of weeks before baby girl makes her arrival, but it quells my anxiety to know that we are all prepared for her now. ๐Ÿ™‚

Let me know what kind of blog posts you’d like to see this week! I’m thinking a Third Trimester update for sure! xoxo

I love that coat! I ordered it for my 16 year old daughter after we saw it on your story. It’s actually quite warm and has real pockets too. You have the cutest bump, Caitlin!

Absolutely a third trimester update! I agree with you on the pastels – here in ATX, spring comes in February, so we get 1-2 months of winter. January is the perfect opportunity to revel in neutrals, low-key colors, and just hit reset before the brighter palette of spring arrives. Hope y’all are enjoying a peaceful start to a great new year!
