Well, if you’re here then you probably already know the exciting news – WE’RE PREGNANT!!!! Chris and I are beyond thankful, and it is so surreal to be typing those words right now, because at many points during our journey, I wondered if it would ever come true. We cannot thank God enough for a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. Baby Dorsch is already so loved!!! And we also want to thank YOU for the overwhelming response on Instagram, and all of your comments and messages which had me in tears. You guys are part of my family, and I can’t wait for you to be apart of my journey into motherhood.
I wanted to keep today’s post short and sweet, but if you have any questions for me about pregnancy and/or our journey to conceive, let me know in the comments and I’ll do a big Q&A pregnancy blog post. I am officially out of my first trimester now (it was a doozy!) and starting to feel a little better and get some energy back. Keeping this secret has felt like a big burden, and I’m so excited that I can finally share with you all – I want to shout it from the rooftops. And let’s be honest – this baby bump was getting hard to hide!

Were you able to conceive naturally? I was recently diagnosed with hypothalamic amenorrhea and have had to gain weight in order to recover my periods. Congrats!
So awesome! February baby? I’m pregnant too (due November) so I’m really excited for your pregnancy/baby content.
It’s funny because I have looked at some of your recent posts (e.g. the Amazon dress) and thought “oh man, her wine looks so good, I wish I could have a cold glass of white wine right now.” And of course now I realize you weren’t drinking it, either! Haha. Next summer!

First of all, congratulations! I am thrilled for you both! You will both make wonderful parents. I am praying for a smooth second and third trimester for you! I love reading your posts as they bring me joy during hard times. My question is this:
Who do you think will be the strict parent between the two of you? I always thought I would be strict and my fiance would be lenient, but we won’t know until that day comes! I am interested to see your dynamic. 😀

Congratulations!! What a great way to start your 30s!! Motherhood is awesome and many times also very crazy! Enjoy all the fun memories pregnancy brings and make sure you take belly photos every week to document your journey. I turned mine into a photo album and my son loves looking at them.
My son is 5 now and we are starting kindergarten next month!

I started the TTC process a couple months ago and whoa is it ever a rollercoaster. We’ve been planning for a potential kid for quite a while so now I’m just getting really anxious for it!

Hi! I know you mentioned you would write about your lifestyle changes such as diet, what you cut out, etc after you had your testing done. I’m not TTC just yet, but I want to be as healthy as I can be for when my husband and I start. Did you write about it or do you plan on it in the near future ?
