Pop of Pink…

Winter look… cute beanie!

Cute Winter look

Love this beanie with the pink pom pom!
Winter outfit idea
pom pom beanie (only $10!!!) // similar camel sweater, another similar style here
pink gloves // distressed denim (just ordered this pair!) // similar suede tassel booties
MAC lipstick in “pink nouveau” // pearl earrings

Funny story, I was at my mom’s house over the weekend and it was freezing out… and she said, “Well I bought you something for Christmas but I’m excited about it so I want to give it to you now!” and it ended up being this pink pom pom beanie! She knows me too well… I love the pink pom pom so I ended up wearing it this entire weekend haha. It was especially perfect for the dreary weekend we had.. sometimes a pop of color can really brighten your mood. I kept this particular look pretty simple with the camel tones and a pink lip.

Oh and just FYI… one of my absolute favorite sweaters that I wear at least two to three times a week (because it is THAT comfortable) just came out in seven more colors. I ordered two more colors last night! I own it in black already and it’s seriously so soft and comfortable (I am wearing it in this blog post… size small). It’s the perfect piece for layering because it’s lightweight, so you can wear a turtleneck underneath, with a big cardigan or coat on top, or underneath a fur vest (my favorite way). It is completely worth it!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was a little crazy as our family tries to prepare for Christmas… can you believe it’s only THREE DAYS away!!? I have most of my shopping done but I still need to wrap some things. I’m also making a dessert for our Christmas Eve party and am at a loss of what to make! I’d love suggestions for something easy!

  6. I love the pink pom pom! It's cute that your mom knows you and your style so well. As for the Christmas dessert, I always find tarts (chocolate, butter pecan or lemon) are always huge hits at any party and if you buy premade little tart shells, they're super easy!

It was such a hit & it tastes like you worked on it a long time, but in reality it took less than fifteen minutes 🙂

  31. One family recipe that we make every year is: Peanut Butter Butterscotch Chocolate Rice Krispies and MAN are they good! They take no time and are so different then anything else anyone else will bring! Here is the link to the recipe on my blog: http://julianagraceblogspace.blogspot.com/2014/04/peanut-butter-butter-scotch-chocolate.html

    Hope that helps!
