My Spring Uniform

Happy Monday, friends! This outfit has been without a doubt my “spring uniform:” a casual top, my favorite jean shorts, and a silk scarf. I can’t get enough of silk scarves (if you haven’t noticed!!) and they’re such a great way to dress up an outfit. Plus they’re so versatile – you can tie them on a handbag, or around a ponytail, etc. (check out this blog post I wrote last year on EIGHT different ways you can wear a scarf). I want to point out a few more details of this outfit: this tie-front camisole is so cute and only $35 (comes in another color too)! And, Nordstrom just came out with these espadrilles that look JUST LIKE my Chloe ones except they’re less than $100!! I could not believe it when I saw them online.

I’m actually writing this post to you guys from Santa Monica Beach in California! We had a great weekend in Baltimore with Chris’s family, and I flew straight from Baltimore to LA.     Since I’m not a fan of hats (aside from baseball caps, ha!), I LOVE the idea of scarves, Caitlin! I am curious though, how do you keep silk scarves from slipping off or sliding around? I’m at least going to look into scarves with elastic in them because I like this look and definitely need to do different things with my hair!
