Last Minute Thanksgiving Outfit Idea

Thanksgiving outfit idea

For some reason I always associate Thanksgiving with cozy yet comfortable outfits, and either outfits with a mix of patterns or a mix of textures. In the outfit above, I layered a striped turtleneck underneath a sweater dress for a fun look (remember to roll the sleeves of your dress up so that the stripes peek out!). I also love how the ruffled boot socks add another element to the outfit (And pssst, my Tory Burch riding boots are on major sale right now). Try experimenting & layering a striped turtleneck under some of your sweaters or dressesโ€ฆ it’s such a cute look! You can pick the turtlenecks up from J.Crew, H&M, or order online (but do it today, so that it will ship in time).

If you don’t like the idea of layering the turtleneck with a sweater, you can also add a patterned scarf for a cute pattern mixed look. I absolutely love the look below! Wear your most comfortable jeans (you’ll thank me when your belly is full of turkey!).

Stripes and plaid outfit

plaid scarf // similar striped turtleneck // similar YSL handbag

All of these items will ship to you in time if you order today or tomorrow – I wouldn’t wait longer than that, though! ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!

  15. You make me miss thanksgiving when I still lived in the U.S. I never dressed up much but maybe I should make an effort now and do so. I love the patterns and all that you combined it with.

  16. It gets so cold here in Chicago I'm all about layering!!! I also tend to feel more comfortable with a long sleeve shirt underneath a sweater. Love the dress and I also love that scarf with the striped shirt. ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope that you're having a great day too!! ๐Ÿ™‚
