Insta-Cait

Happy Friday, loves!
I’ve been pretty busy on Instagram lately, so I thought I’d share some of my recent posts with you today.
Say hello to my first pair of TB Reva’s! I bought a TB bag as a Christmas present to myself and then decided I didn’t think it was worth the money. I took it back to the store… and then walked away with these instead! I figured I would get more wear out of these, since a good pair of flats will last me for years to come. I decided to go with the black and gold because they go with everything.
This is exactly how I like to spend my weekends… cozied up with hot chocolate and some comfy socks. Too bad I can’t do this all day, err’day! Apparently these Anthropologie gold mugs are sold out online, but I would check your local store to see if they have any more available.

Meet my new favorite lipstick, y’all. This shade (“le fuchsia”) is so vibrant and really pops on your lips – I LOVE it. It also somehow manages to look amazing whether you have super tan or super pale skin (ahem… or super, super pale like me). It’s also very hydrating and long-lasting. I would recommend going to Sephora or Nordstrom and trying it on before purchasing, but I promise you will love it!

This was my dilemma on New Year’s Eve. Which skirt to pick?! (Both are from Fiore Boutique.) I ended up choosing the one on the right because it went with my top better, but I’m in love with the left one! Someone said it reminded them of a snowflake and I agree. With a cable knit sweater, wouldn’t it just be perfect?

I also had my nails done before NYE. I wanted to do a twist on the traditional french manicure, so I went with glitter tips and a white/nude base polish. I was very pleased with how they turned out! P.S. you can get my gold bow midi ring here from Baublebar.

All I have to say about this picture is that I thought I was addicted to Starbucks’ coffee, but now I’m even more addicted to Starbucks’ cookies. This snowman cookie is so freakin’ yummy. Do yourself a favor and pick one up next time you’re at Starbucks!

The other weekend I tried out Ciate nail polish for the first time. This set comes with two polishes (a gold polish and the caviar pearls) and a funnel. You have to read the instructions before you apply the beads, but you basically just spill them onto your nail after applying a fresh coat of polish and they stick to it! Pretty crazy, but I actually really liked how it looked on my nails, especially my ring finger.
Today I’m headed to the dermatologist for a small surgery! I have said this before, but I hate needles and knives and will probably be freaking out for most of today. However, I do have something fun to look forward to this weekend – on Sunday I’m working with Emma Loo Photography for a few outfit posts. Emily is an amazing photographer and I can’t wait to work with her!!
Oh and one more thing… I’d like to introduce you to my newest sponsor, Tara who blogs over at Gemmy Junky! Seriously, how cute is she? I NEED a pair of those sequin shorts.
She is also the sweetest. Go and check out her blog here!

  6. Good luck with your surgery! I have had 11 spots removed, and it is really an easy surgery. They won't show you the needles if you don't want them to! The worst part is the numbing before the surgery, it burns, but then you won't feel anything. Expect to take it easy this weekend and have stitches for 10 days.
