No-Hassle Front Porch Decor

I have been wanting to fix up my front porch for a while now… it’s the first thing people see when they come to your house, and often their first impression! I first tried potting hydrangeas and, although they were beautiful, they died within a week (due to the direct sunlight they get in the morning!). I even went back to the hardware store, bought more flowers and more soil, then replanted the planters with different flowers and… they died again. (I am notorious for my lack of green thumb.) So I finally turned to eBay for these beautiful double ball topiaries. They look so nice and stately in person, and guess what you guys!!? They can’t die on me! Cause they’re faux 😉 The topiaries came in the mail super fast, they were already potted in the planter, and all I had to do was put the rocks into the planters (the rocks come in the package). It was the easiest thing in the world and I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner! They required hardly any effort. Ebay also has a selection of affordable door mats and wreaths to make your front porch look like a million bucks (I will link up some of my favorite in the widget below). If you’ve never browsed the Home and Garden section on eBay, then you’re missing out – they have tons of brand new home decor, appliances, even furniture!

The gorgeous maxi dress I’m wearing is ALSO from eBay – it comes in three different colors and is less than $15! I got it in both the blue and green, and love both! Check out this page from all of the daily deals on eBay. 🙂

P.S. I am sooo pumped because tomorrow’s blog post is all about health and wellness! A bunch of guys said you wanted the post to be on Mondays so that we could start the week out on the right foot, and I think that’s a brilliant idea. Stay tuned!

  1. Your front porch looks great! Question…are the topiaries/pots heavy enough that they won’t blow over in the wind?!
