HAPPY OCTOBER, you guys!!! October is the month of all thinks scary and spooky, and you can bet that I’ve been stocking up on my spooky books, podcasts and movies already! It’s also the month that the leaves start changing and the weather starts cooling down, and I couldn’t be happier about that. We are leaving for our first fall trip over the weekend and I’m just filled to the brim with excitement! If you guys want some *spooky* content this month on Southern Curls and Pearls, let me know and I’d be happy to put together some creative blog posts!
On another note, this sweater dress and ASOS scarf is the perfect thing to wear on the first day of October. I know I’m going to get a ton of wear out of that scarf this year – I love the fun pattern, and the burnt orange color (like I said, perfect for October). I also want to point out that I got some new sunglasses! They finally came out with a “mini” version of these aviators and they actually fit my face. (The regular size made me look like an alien hahah.) I have them in the “black” color and highly recommend them.

I have been on the hunt for beige/sand, suede, knee-high, flat, boots with a 13” calf circumference. I like a fitted-boot look. My Stuart Weitzman lowlands OTK boots clash with the hem of my fall dresses and skirts because I am only 5’3.

October is literally my favourite month ever. Cosy jumpers, dark evenings, hot festive coffees, the leaves turning a gorgeous burnt orange and Halloween.
I’ve been loving a knitted jumper dress just lately I need to invest in a good pair of suede knee high boots.
That scarf is perfection! I love the colour, the pattern, the coziness, everything!
