Hey friends! Sunday blog posts are pretty rare for me, but I have a treat for you today. My mom, otherwise known as CarCar, is taking over my blog to share her picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! This is one of my most-requested blog posts during the sale (I swear y’all like her picks better than mine lol), and I can see why… she has amazing taste! I’m particularly excited about the jeans, a couple pair of booties and the most flattering black dress ever!! I’m excited to show you what I found. • Quality: This is going to be my go-to hat this fall and winter!! I absolutely love the color of this wool hat, it somehow went with almost every single fall outfit that I purchased from the sale. It’s made of a thick, sturdy wool and has a nice suede ribbon that wraps around the crown.

COACH Logo Jacquard Crossbody Bag in “tan taupe”

• Quality: Believe it or not, this COACH bag is the only handbag Caitlin and I purchased from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year! I really love it, too – it has a vintage feel to it, and can be carried by the top handle or you can attach the shoulder strap. I found that this bag went with so many of the fall outfits from the sale this year! The neutral color and pattern are so pretty, and the interior has multiple pockets to keep your essentials organized.

• Quality: This polo sweater is knit from an ultra cozy blend so you know it is super soft. I love the roomy, oversized fit and how cute is the little collar. The lavender color really stood out to me, because you don’t see it too often in the fall.

Madewell Lyle Rib Henley Sweater in “heather saddle”

• Sizing: TTS, I’m wearing size XS.
• Quality: I love this ribbed knit of this chunky sweater – it’s a great basic fall piece to add to your wardrobe this year. It is very soft and cozy. The yarn is a wool blend but does not feel scratchy at all. I think it looks great with these blue jeans and will look great with white jeans or slacks too.

• Quality: Run, don’t walk to get this dress! The vertical ribbing and longer length make this dress oh so flattering. Definitely my favorite sweater dress! I am on the shorter side (5’4) so I wasn’t sure how it would look, but I really love it, You could even style it with tennis shoes for a dressed-down look.

• Quality: So interesting that they call this piece a “blazer,” because it so so thick and warm, it almost feels like a coat! Either way, I am so excited about this piece! It has a boxy, oversized fit and side-seam pockets. It is a splurge, but the quality is worth it and I will wear it for years to come.

I think it would look amazing with some tall suede boots and a cardigan for cool weather! Or you could definitely style it for a wedding. I love that it’s so versatile.

I usually buy a lot of plaid tops from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but this is the only one I bought this year! I am very happy with my purchase, as I think it’s a versatile plaid that you can style many different ways (for example, by layering with sweaters and cardigans).

Lost + Wander Vineyards in the Valley Floral Print Sheered Long Sleeve Midi Dress in “black lavender floral”

• Sizing: TTS, I’m wearing size XS.
• Quality: I love the look and feel of this long sleeve midi dress. The flounced hem adds a nice detail. I was hesitant to try it on as I didn’t know if it really looked like “me,” but I ended up loving it. If you’re on the fence, definitely give it a shot! I can’t wait to wear it again in cooler weather.

• Quality: These are the PERFECT booties to wear with dresses! They definitely have a western vibe (which is trending for fall), and the pointed toe make them very flattering to your legs. They have a 3.5″ heel, which is pretty tall for a bootie. Despite the height, they are very comfortable to walk around in!
