Best Valentine’s Books for Toddlers

I toldddd you guys I was *head over heels* for Valentine’s Day right now! Kenny has had her bookshelf stocked with Valentine’s Books since the second or third day of January. No joke. Haha! These are some of the best Valentine’s book for toddlers that I have found!

Dr. Seuss’s Lovey Things, by Dr. Seuss

Thing One and Thing Two star in this simple board book about love. This is a great way to introduce Dr. Seuss to your child! It talks about the kinds of things that the Twin Things love… smiling, hugging, sharing, and kisses!

Angelina and the Valentine’s Day Surprise, by Katharine Holabird

In this book, Angelina Ballerina sends Valentine’s Day cards to all of her friends and family – and little ones can pull the tabs to read the valentines! This one is very cute and girly, it’s the perfect book for a little girl to grow with.

Biscuit’s Valentine’s Day, by Alyssa Satin Capucilli

This is Kennedy’s current favorite book! It’s all about making and delivering Valentine’s to the special people in your life. There’s a page about the little girl’s grandparents and Kennedy has me read it over…. and over… and over!

What Is Love Biscuit?, by Alyssa Satin Capucilli

We love all the Biscuit books! In this board book, the little girl teaches her puppy that love is sharing and helping and learning.

Llama Llama I love You, by Anna Dewdney

We love the whole Llama Llama series and this book is super cute (although super short!). The rhymes are great and the pictures are adorable. Older kids will probably want more, but this is a great Valentine’s Day book for younger children and toddlers.

Where is Baby’s Valentine?, by Karen Katz

If you get one book on this list, I suggest this one! It’s very interactive, with flaps for your baby or toddler to lift. The illustrations are beautiful, and Kennedy loved this one both last year and this year, so it’s a great book to grow with your child!

If you have a toddler and have any book suggestions, let us all know!!

xoxo
