I thought this outfit was appropriate for the first week back to school… and it really channels my inner Blair Waldorf, don’t you think? Plaid miniskirt, big bow, red heels… (please tell me you guys watch Gossip Girls!). I really do love this outfit though, and the great thing is that you don’t have to have Blair Waldorf’s bank account to achieve this look – ha! The tie-on bow I’m wearing is only $28… I bought mine last year and have since worn it with numerous tops in dozens of different ways. It’s the easiest and simplest way to add a touch of chic to your outfit this fall. I’m also loving this plaid skirt, which can also be worn so many different ways. For a more casual look I would pair it with a chambray button-up!
Thanks so much to everyone who gave advice on how to feel better yesterday. I have been going to bed at 7 p.m. for the past two nights and I think the extra sleep has really helped! I took some zinc tablets like you guys suggested and my throat is already feeling better. Also – “The Longest Ride” is a really great movie but I was crying practically the whole time – it’s a tearjerker!
