Amazon v-neck midi dress // Lack of Color Palma hat // straw tote
Last week my family packed up and headed to the beach for a few days! After a really long, tough winter, it makes my soul feel light to be near the ocean. Just the sound of the waves crashing and the sand beneath my feet is enough to soothe my soul. Although, this trip is not *quite* as relaxing as usual, since Kennedy is with me for the first time! Haha! I love having her with me (of course), but traveling with a baby is just a whole other ballgame. I had to pack up basically our entire house (including stroller, travel bassinet, car seta, dock-a-tot, changing mat, etc.) and we have to constantly be cognizant of her moods – is she tired? happy? fussy? needs a change of diaper of a nap? So I hope no one looks at my Instagram or blog photos and thinks life with a newborn is “easy” because it’s definitely not!
But back to the photos at hand. This v-neck midi dress is an Amazon find and I am in absolute LOVE. I can’t believe it’s less than $30! It makes a great swimsuit cover-up (especially paired with a white suit), but you can also wear it by itself, too, like I am. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing it all summer long. 🙂

The ocean/beach is definitely my true home, too! There’s nothing more relaxing than being near the waves and on the sand.

So cute! I love the length – great for us petite gals. Glad y’all are having some much-needed relaxation. Life with a newborn is hectic and about 3.5 other jobs in one. Enjoy the sun and the sea!

Yay for the beach! Love this dress and the color. Motherhood is definitely not easy and travel with a baby has its challenges but once you get into a rhythm it gets better.
