Baby It’s Cold Outside…

pink sweater (less than $40) // star scarf // pink beanie
white pants // Stuart Weitzman Highland boots, similar but less expensive HERE
Okay guys… I’m sure if you live on the East Coast you already know this, but it is FREEZING outside!!!! Our weather has been barely above 20 degrees for the past couple of days and has no plans of warming up for the next week. I’m having to let all of the faucets in our house trickle water so that the pipes don’t freeze! Anyway, it was definitely a rude awakening to come home to. I’m trying to cheer up the winter weather by wearing lots of pastels and spring-y colors. I’m obsessed with this pink sweater (for less than $40) – if you wear it now, you will definitely need a coat or scarf because it’s thin… but the good news is that you can wear it in the spring too! I actually wore it in Mexico with shorts and it looked really cute 🙂 Also, my pink beanie is still in stock and actually on SALE so snag it up while it’s still cold outside!
On a different note, I have a ton of fun post ideas for 2018 and I can’t wait to share them with you! I’ll still be sharing fashion posts, but I also want to branch out and share more different kinds of content with you in 2018 – posts on how to stay organized, more beauty and home posts, and also more posts focusing on health and fitness. One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to focus on my diet and fitness routine (especially with our wedding coming up in June!) so please let me know if that’s something you’d like to read about! 🙂
xoxo
Cait

  1. I love how you're trying to make the weather better by wearing pastel colors! It's kind of the same reason why I got a camel coat – I was sick and tired of everyone wearing black and green parkas xD

  3. It has been freezing in Boston! We're actually having a blizzard today… anywho, I love how you still wear light colors in the winter! I should definitely start incorporating the same with my wardrobe.

  27. I live in MA and it has been so cold lately. We are expecting negatives in the next few days. I think it’s a great idea to incorporate lighter colors now that Christmas is behind us. I’m really looking forward to seeing your future posts. I’m trying to focus these year more on fitness and diet so I was really excited to see you’ll be posting more on these topics 🙂 The other topics you mentioned sound great as well.
