I wore this look one day last week – it’s so interesting how fashion “trends” change over the years…. a couple summers ago, all I wanted to wear was bright colors, pops of neon, etc. Now I’m more into neutrals – they’re forever classic! I’m particularly loving these ruffle shorts from Nordstrom – I’m always wary to order shorts online (I have a hard time finding a good fit), but these fit PERFECTLY! I sized down to a US 2. And the white tank I’m wearing is the perfect complement – if you don’t own it yet, you need it! You’ll be surprised how much you wear it – I really need to order another one because I wear mine three or four times per week. If you haven’t checked out the new spring clothes at Nordstrom I would highly recommend it – they have some really cute pieces in right now!!
This past weekend was so much fun! Saturday, Chris and I went shopping like I had told y’all on Friday. We drove over to the Friendly Center in Greensboro (they have way better shopping than Winston does!) and we were able to get two new pairs of shoes, two pairs of pants and several work/casual tops for him in less than two hours. It was so painful for him though- the man hates shopping. He is the least material person on the PLANET – he doesn’t care about brand names, designers, trends, etc… I’m the opposite (I have LOVED clothes/fashion since I was a little girl), so we balance each other out quite nicely 🙂

Yeah I'm also more into neutral colors but it never hurts to wear pops of color, these shorts are too cute though!!!

Nordstrom is my go to retailer, they have a lovely selection. The ruffle shorts are fun, and I've noticed there are some really pretty floral prints in a lot of their stuff this season too.
