Today I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite looks from the past year. From the beaches of St. Lucia to the mountains of Tahoe, I had so much fun sharing my outfits and life with you this past year!
I always get sentimental at the start of a new year… life passes by so quickly and there is always so much going on that sometimes I forget to just stop and appreciate each moment. In the blink of an eye, a whole year has passed and a lot of lessons learned. 2016 was one of the best and also one of the hardest years of my life. I lost my Papa this year, whom I was really close with, and our family is still dealing with the grief. This year I also moved from Charlotte to Winston-Salem, a change that pleasantly surprised me – I honestly love Winston and can picture myself here for the rest of my life. I had the opportunity to travel a lot in 2016… I had the chance to see two new countries, visited Lake Tahoe twice, went back to San Francisco, saw Vegas, Palm Springs, got to see the fall foliage in New England and had our annual family beach trip to Ocean Isle Beach. Career wise, I am proud of myself for accomplishing the two major career goals that I set at the beginning of last year. This is also the year that I got my puppy, Winnie. It’s going to sound so cliche, but she brings me so much happiness and I can’t picture life without her now (and of course Prince George, too!). I still struggle with anxiety, answering my emails and keeping my apartment clean (haha) but these are all things I can work on in 2017.
On another note, I am extremely grateful to each one of you that follows this blog. I don’t say it nearly enough, but you guys mean everything to me and I’m SO grateful for your support! Thank you so much for coming back every day.
