Chambray Romper

chambray romper (TTS, I’m wearing US 2), I also really like this one
Tory Burch crossbody bag (on sale), similar bag here // felt floppy hat (only $16!)
similar nude wedges // Celine sunglasses (New Audrey style)
MAC lipstick in “impassioned”

Happy Monday, y’all! I wore this adorable chambray romper over the weekend & think it’s the perfect romper to transition into cooler months (eventually). I love it paired with this floppy hat (that’s only $16), and how about with this pair of booties? For now, though, I would wear it to the Farmer’s Market or to get ice cream with a friend. Oh and another thing – it’s really comfy. It feels like PJs! P.S. Don’t forget that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opened to the public on Friday – a lot of things have already sold out! Here’s my best blog post on the sale.

Today I’m headed to Asheville for a quick trip with my bf. He is starting clinicals next week so we figured an overnight trip to Asheville would be really fun before he starts! If anyone has recommendations on Asheville I would love to hear them – we are staying downtown, and looking for restaurant recommendations (especially lunch recs) and some fun things to do/see!

  8. Curate has the. best. tapas. Seriously so good. For lunch I love Salsa, it's Caribbean-influenced Mexican food and has great cocktails! And of course you can't go wrong with the brewpubs. I'm from Durham and my man and I love Asheville, I hope you and your boyfriend have a great time there.

  17. I have lived in Asheville for the last couple of years! Sunny Point Cafe is by far the best brunch spot, but be prepared to wait a good 45 min in the morning. By noon, the wait is usually much shorter. The food is incredible. Sky bar is downtown and is a great place to get drinks and watch the sunset. French Broad Chocolate lounge is also a must. It is downtown as well. There are plenty of restaurants downtown, so you have plenty to choose from. Enjoy your stay!

I have a long sleeve chambray romper that i'm super excited to play around with! Me and my boyfriend took a trip to Asheville after graduation you're gonna love it. I would recommend Tupelo Honey Cafe for lunch. They give you these AMAZING biscuits with blueberry jam (i had to buy some to take home) and the winery on the Biltmore estate was awesome with lots of samples and it's right next to a cute little farm. Enjoy!

  19. I'm sure you already know about this, but the Biltmore estate (especially the gardens!) is one of my favorites in Asheville! Hope you have fun!

  20. Save room at dinner one night and try Old Europe desserts on Broadway. It's a tiny little hole in the wall place with the best desserts you've ever had.

Definitely go to the Biltmore if you have time and make sure to explore the gardens, it's gorgeous. The Biltmore Village outside of the entrance to the house has lots of fun shopping also.

Tupelo Honey Cafe is also worth a try if you can. The biscuits are to die for.

    I hope you have fun!

  38. Love this romper on you! Looks so cute with the hat! I'm from Asheville and there are SOO many good places to eat! You have to go to "Well Bred" Bakery and Care its in Biltmore Village (near the Biltmore House) and they have the best lunch sandwich salads and desserts! SO so cute! And there is a J. Crew and other cute shops in that area! Also French Broad Chocolate Lounge downtown is great for desserts and Curate for Tapas! Hope y'all have a lot of fun!

  39. Really cute romper. I like that it's a basic. No embellishments, no over top color, no fringe, just your basic romper. You can do so much with the look, it's endless. I do however like how you've got it styled in a casual manner here. Perfect!

  41. I just got back from Asheville! it's a great town. Grove Park Inn is delicious, it is pricey but has a gorgeous view if you eat at Sunset Terrance. Tupelo Honey is a great place for brunch, it opens for 9 but get there soon after it opens because it fills up quickly!
    Enjoy your trip!
