Stars & Stripes

4TH OF JULY ITEMS
WEARING
BAGS:

Yes, I know it’s still June, but it’s time to start planning out your July 4th outfit because it will be here before you know it! In the above photos, I’m wearing two easy (and affordable) options for a chic Independence Day 2014. First up, this gorgeous embroidered dress is a bit on the dressier side, but not too dressy for everyday wear. The high neckline and embroidered blue stitching make it classy and just plain beautiful! For the second look, I paired this embroidered top with scalloped shorts for a more playful feel. It’s also incredibly comfy… I can comfortably sit on a blanket and watch fireworks in this outfit!

Let’s be honest, though… my favorite part of this post would definitely have to be the fun accessories from Swoozie’s! I can’t get over how cute these star shaped sunglasses are, I’m ordering a bunch for my friends and family. And as a sucker for cups, I’m loving this striped acrylic mason jar to keep my drink cool (it comes in red too!), and I am absolutely kicking myself for not buying one of these stars & stripes wine glasses… how perfect is that? You can check out Swoozie’s entire collection of July Fourth items here.

This weekend I’m headed to Raleigh for an engagement shower. Chris and I are also having lunch with one of my BEST childhood friends while we are there and I’m so excited! She and her husband haven’t met Chris yet, and it’s been almost a year since I’ve seen her. I love seeing friends that you’ve known forever… I can be my goofy self around them and know they love me anyways! Hope everyone has a great weekend 🙂
