Friday Fives.

Hello loves!
Whew. It’s been a bit of a rough week for me. I’m getting over a nasty stomach bug that has been going around our office. I even took a half-day on Thursday to recuperate and treated myself to a Panera frozen mocha to make myself feel better (…note to self: this did not help my addiction to their frozen mochas!).
I have a lot to look forward to this weekend. I have a little photoshoot planned for a fabulous post about July 4th outfits, annnd it’s mine and the boy’s six month anniversary on Saturday!
But it’s Friday (woohoo) and without further ado, here are my Friday Fives:
1. Introducing {RMC Jewelry} Boutique!

I’m in love with this online boutique… they have the cutest jewelry, scarves and maxi dresses for incredibly affordable prices. I’ve been rocking their accessories all week long!

2. Healthy peanut butter chocolate balls
I made these Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls from the blog {Eat Yourself Skinny} and they are simply amazing. They’re also incredibly healthy! You all know I’m a fan of clean eating, and these balls are gluten-free, sugar-free and vegan… but you could never tell by the taste. I’ve been eating them for breakfast each morning with a side of fresh fruit. You probably already have these ingredients on hand and they only take ten minutes to make!

3. That moment when your favorite item gets back in stock…
Pure jubilee = how I felt when I got the email that Baublebar’s {iced gold lariat necklace} was back in stock! I immediately placed my order. Y’all. I die over this necklace. It’s from blogger Courtney Kerr’s collection and I can’t wait to wear it with every single outfit I own.
3. Gingham style

I’m loving gingham more than ever lately. It’s such a preppy, summery print and it looks great on everyone. I dressed this shirt up for work, but it would be equally as cute with a pair of jean shorts or white pants. The possibilities are endless!

5. A good book

I am an avid reader and absolutely love to get lost in a good novel. I recently started reading {The American Heiress} because I heard it was very similar to the popular TV show Downton Abbey. I’m about a third of the way through the book right now and it has me hooked! I’ve been reading it before I go to bed at night and I’ve even been waking up early to sneak in a few pages before work.
If you’re in search of the perfect pool or beach read, this is it!

Does anyone have any good books to recommend? I’ll be looking for a new read once I finish this one!
Have a great weekend everyone!!
Love, Cait

  1. I'm currently reading Garden of Stones by Sophie Littlefield… It's about a Japanese family and how they were affected after Pearl Harbor. Great book… I totally recommend it!

  12. So many things to comment on in this post! First, loving the scarf in the first picture. I want and maybe even need that. 🙂

Second, there are SO many good books out there! I just did a post on some last week, so definitely check that out. Aside from those, I just finished Moonflower Vine and it was really good. I found it through all the good reviews on GoodReads. Another one I'm dying to read, but it will be a tear-jerker is The End of Your Life Book Club. I kinda wanna read this with my Mom just due to the story.

Finally, LOVE that necklace by Courtney. So chic and might have to pick one up myself!

    Have a good weekend, girl!

  19. I read The American Heiress a while back and really enjoyed it! Look for Susan Elia MacNeal. She has three- Mr. Churchill's Secretary, Princess Elizabeth's Spy and His Majesty's Hope. World War II in London, spy-ish, but so fun!
