Red, White, and Blue

One of my favorite holidays is coming up! The fourth of July is such a fun holiday for several reasons…

1. It’s summer, which means warm weather
2. You’re surrounded by family and friends
3. Cookouts (and cookout food!)
4. Fireworks!

But what’s even better than enjoying the fireworks?

Getting dressed in red, white, and blue.

For this holiday, it’s imperative that you feel comfortable in whatever you choose to wear. You can’t go wrong with shorts and a cute top when you’re going to be outside all night!

Pick One
Gold earrings, Sweetie Pie, $28
White tank, Net-a-Porter, $47.60
Wide Resin bangle, J Crew, $22.50
Checked shorts, Madewell, $59.50
Sandals, J Crew, $39.50
This look is classy and also very comfortable.
Tuck in your tank to accentuate the high-waisted shorts.
And since the shorts are the focal point of the outfit, so don’t worry about trying to accessorize too much.
Pick Two
Floral print cotton top, Marc Jacobs, $180
Rhinestone drop earrings, Badgley Mischka, $95
Linen shorts, Madewell, $59.50
Jack Rogers, Nordstrom, $97.95
This is probably my favorite look!
The floral top is so feminine and flirty.
The linen shorts are so comfortable.
And these earrings? I’m dying for them…
they’re Carolina blue!

Pick Three
Saltwater blouse, Anthropologie, $78
Gold dangle earrings, Kenneth Jay Lane, $90
Jean shorts, Elizabeth & James, $165
Gold and white bangles, Nordstrom, $58
Wedges, Sperry Topsider, $90
You can never go wrong with gold and white!
While the jorts dress this look down, the wedges make this outfit sizzle!

Pick Four

Gold earrings, Sweetie Pie, $42
Silk intermission top, Madewell, $88
Large gold runway watch, Michael Kors, $240
Sidewalk short, J Crew, $65
Gold thong sandals, Tory Burch, $195
This red silk top is attention grabbing, and the gold accessories really dress it up.
But you can still catch fireflies in these sandals!

What part of Fourth of July are you looking forward to most?
Love, Cait
