Trim the Tree

Hey friends!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday – I know I did. Although I’m sad Thanksgiving is over, I’m also super excited. As in I can hardly contain my excitement. You know why? Because it means I can officially start decorating for Christmas!
This year, things are a little different since I have my own apartment. As far as decorations go, I’m basically starting from scratch. I went to Michael’s on Sunday and bought a Christmas tree. I even built it successfully all by myself
{although I did get some battle wounds in the process!}.
Here’s what I used to decorate my tree:
And here’s a little sneak peak into how it turned out:
And what do you do with leftover leopard ribbon?
You use it for your wreath, of course!
Has anyone else started decorating their house, too? {Or am I the only crazy one!}
Love, Cait

  1. Ah you're too cute! I don't get to decorate my apartment this year but my fingers are crossed that I'll have free reign over my tree choices next christmas! I will definitely be using that shade of pink and hopefully have a white or silver tree 🙂

  4. What an adorable tree! You'll have to show us all of your decorations when you're finished!

    Yes, our house is mostly decorated. I had to buy a lot this year too since it's a new place and has different areas to decorate. So fun though!

  9. How adorable! We're all decked out for Christmas, though these Abu Dhabi houses are a little trickier to make festive. No fireplace!

  14. What a cute and girly way to decorate your tree! I have 2 trees, one has decorations on it that all have special meaning, and one is all sparkly snowflakes. And the leopard ribbon on the wreath is perfect!

  17. I've started decorating, but I don't think that a Xmas tree is going to happen this year because of the puppy. I love how you incorporated both pink sparkles AND leopard! Looks great together 🙂
