Jewelry Crush…

Lately I’ve been on a huge statement jewelry kick. The pieces that have been catching my eye have sparkles, bright colors or tassels and I want them ALL. This tassel necklace is on sale for $18 (find more colors here) and would be perfect for a vacation I’m taking in August! Oh and these earrings are just beautiful. My friend Emily pointed them out to me because they look just like the Lisi Lerch tassel earrings I have but for one third of the price!!

I am also obsessed with Loren Hope Designs. The jewelry is expensive, yes, but it is completely worth it in my opinion. No one else makes jewelry like this that is so unique but completely breathtaking. Here’s a photo from my Instagram feed yesterday… I was dying over all the bright colors!

I have almost caught up on sleep from my NYC trip, but this weekend I’m back to traveling… again. Chris and I are attending a wedding in Savannah on Saturday, but since he’s a groomsman we are heading down tomorrow. I’ve never been to Savannah before so I’m really excited to go! I will have some free time while Chris is attending to wedding duties… if you have any recommendations for restaurants/shopping in Savannah I would love to hear!

Have a great Wednesday everyone!

  15. Make sure you visit The Paris Market while you're in Savannah – it's a home decor store with lots of cute, Parisian style items (some new, some vintage). I think you will love it! Also, be sure to have ice cream at Leopolds…it's worth it. 🙂

  19. Savannah is basically my hometown!! (I live in a suburban town nearby!) You definitely have to visit downtown Savannah! Walk along River Street (its along the river, so its absolutely gorgeous!), visit Forsyth Park (there's a really nice fountain there – where everyone takes their prom pictures!), shopping on Broughton Street – there's cute boutiques and shopping stores such as Kate Spade, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, etc.)
Foodwise – Leopolds has amazing ice cream (really, you need to go!), Funky Brunch (its a new brunch place where there's a griddle in your table and you make your own pancakes!), Byrd's (they make the most delicious cookies ever..)

Those are some that I can think off the top of my head, but feel free to contact me if you would like to know more! There are so many places in Savannah that would be perfect for you to take pictures for your blog as well. If you would like to, you can contact me via email at v.nguyen96@yahoo.com or twitter (@v_nguyen96) – figured those two would be easiest! Hope you have a great trip Caitlin!

  20. Savannah is awesome! I had such a great time when I went. Definitely go to the Bohemian Hotel and check out their roof top bar! Also, the restaurant downstairs in that hotel is great as well! Awesome views of the river. And I'm a HUGE Loren Hope fan. I started wearing pieces by her when I was in college and she had first started. She does great work! xo
