5 Ways to Celebrate Fall…

Since yesterday was the official start of fall, I thought it was only right that today’s blog post was dedicated to five ways to celebrate. These are guaranteed to get you in the “fall” mood!
1. Make your own (healthier!) pumpkin spice latte
Pumpkin spice lattes are one of the reasons I love fall so much. However, it can get costly to stop by Starbucks every day (not to mention PSLs contain a lot of extra sugar!). This fall, why not make your own?! I want to try out this recipe that uses vanilla almond milk, pumpkin puree and vanilla. This recipe also looks good and is a lot “skinnier” than the Starbucks version!

2. Wear a scarf

That turkey sign from Nordstrom might be about the cutest thing I've seen. Definitely snagging that one up. This is actually the first year I'm decorating for fall so that will go great in the guest bathroom on a stand.

  22. I absolutely LOVE Fall and do all of the things you listed in your blog! Another thing I do to get in the mood for Fall is by cooking delicious 'Comfort Food Favorites' like turkey chili, meatballs, and pot roast! Nothing says Fall like a warm delicious meal in the slow cooker all day!

  23. Not to mention PSL contain pesticide residue! It was mentioned on the Today Show not too long ago. Great post though!

  24. This is such a cute post idea!! The first thing I did to get into the fall mood was to pull out my fall nail colors! I'm wearing Chincilly right now and have all of those colors except one – so great minds think alike 🙂 And I also love using scarves to add texture and to mix up outfits. Also can't wait to decorate some pumpkins (I'm thinking gold spray paint)!

  29. Obsessed with all of this! That recipe sounds like it's going to be ten times better than Starbuck's PSL. Plus I can't believe how similar that Nasty Gal scarf is! I missed out on the blanket one from Zara, but this one looks exactly like it. I'm also a major nail polish fiend and I can't wait to start embracing all of my fall nail colors. The Cashmere Bathrobe is to die for.

  30. Drinking Crisp Apple Water ( HINT) and also burning lots of candles with cinnamon and pumpkin puts me in the mood. And wearing cable sweaters though it is about 80degrees in Cali right now so I am sweating lots. 🙂
Your posts are so refreshing and inspiring. I love your blog.

  31. I've done all of these except for number one. I instead decided to find a recipe for a healthier apple cinnamon cake. Only difference is I made them into moon pies, I couldn't resist 🙂 I'm definitely going to have to try that recipe!

  35. GAP has a plaid scarf on sale right now for $20 that I recently picked up but it looks like I'll have to pick up a few more as well – digging the one on the left and picturing it with a vest. Re: PSL, don't ever amateur hour your order when it's in the 80's and attempt to make an iced PSL happen. Worst mistake. It was absolutely disgusting. However, this reduced cal drink sounds pretty good!
