Yesterday may have just been the first day of spring, but I am 100% ready for summer weather. Get me some sunshine and a body of water and I will be happy… no matter what! Even though 80 degree weather isn’t quite here yet, I have all of my pool and beach essentials covered. That is preparation, y’all. First of all, I’m dying over this monogrammed sun hat and tumbler from Swoozie’s! (You know my motto – if it’s not moving, then monogram it.) I love this tumbler because it’s actually a wine glass inside of a tumbler. I filled it up with water, but you can bet after a day on the beach it will be filled with wine/margaritas/daquiris/etc. 😉
Secondly, I’m loving my blue and white striped beach bag from Hayden Reis. It’s waterproof, which means I don’t have to worry about the contents getting ruined inside! Not only that, but there are billions of pockets for all of my necessities – sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm, books… you name it. I can’t wait to pack it up for road trips and the beach!
Finally… for a day in the sun, you must have two things: a cute bathing suit and a cute cover-up. The Orchid Boutique has THE PRETTIEST swimsuits I’ve ever seen. Not lying! I bought a L*Space swimsuit from them last year, and couldn’t resist this one because of the ruffles. For a cute cover-up, I went with this gorgeous tunic from Hazel and Chic. I would totally wear this with jeans or leggings, but it also makes the perfect hippie chic cover-up for a day on the beach. I just love the stitching details!
