Friday Fives + A Winner!

Hi honey boo boos,
Here’s what I’m loving this Friday.
1. Organizing my jewelry

If my jewelry isn’t displayed on my dresser, I’m sure to forget that I have it. Enter, the genius bracelet bar:
Similar {here} and {here}
I found this one at Marshalls, but there are tons all over the internet you can order. Now once I’m dressed and ready, it’s so much easier to pick out my bangles!
And while we’re on the topic of jewelry organization, a few of you asked about my monogrammed jewelry box in my
You can find it {here}.
Not only is acrylic incredibly chic, but it makes it so easy to see your whole jewelry collection.
2. Comfy maxi skirts
I wore this a few days ago for a mall trip. SO comfortable! I’m excited to transition my summer maxi skirts and dresses into fall looks.
3. Old Navy

I usually can’t find much at ON. I always go in there with high hopes but walk out with empty hands! Well, that’s all changed recently. Their new fall line is seriously killin’ it, you guys!
I picked up the chambray top, a tunic, and a dress on my visit there last week. They look similar to J.Crew’s blouses, but for a third of the price – you just can’t beat that.
4. New reads
Did you enjoy the Hunger Games? (Seriously how could you say no??) Well if you did, then you will love this new series by Ally Condie!
These books are addicting. I started reading the first one and could NOT put it down. I’m halfway through the second one now. They remind me of the Hunger Games because they’re highly futuristic and engaging.
There’s a third book coming out in November, so get started now! 🙂
5. The BOGO deals going on at Ulta
Ulta’s {21 days of beauty} is going on now and they’ve got some super deals for each day of September. The 10th (Monday) has been marked on my calendar for a long time…
It’s buy one get one free Butter London nail polish!
I already know that {Queen Vic} will be in my cart.
And lastly, we have a winner from the Glam Grab necklace giveaway!
Congratulations… Ellyn Frash!

Be sure to check your email 🙂
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!! Anyone have big plans?
Love, Cait

  1. I have a love/hate relationship with ON, but I am currently LOVING them! I've found a TON of stuff there my past few shopping trips! You should check out the House of Night book series. I loved the Hunger Games, but these books are also "young adult (which I disagree with! 16+ at least!), but they are sooooo good! I read all 9 books in about 3 weeks and the last one is coming in October!

  3. I usually have the exact same problem with ON! I go in with high hopes and leave with nothing. I love that purple blouse, though, so maybe I'll try again!

  5. I have that purple blouse but in black!! Thanks to you I've been on the hunt at TJ Maxx and Marshalls for jewelry holders. You are so right – I forget about my jewelry if it's tucked back in a drawer. 🙂 Happy weekend my friend! xo

  13. I love that we are so similar. I just bought a bracelet bar from MICHAELS! Yes, the craft store has some great jewelry organizers right now but I found my earring organizer from Marshalls last year. I just finished Matched and Crossed is waiting for me at the library and I am about to head out and grab it. I feel the same way about ON, sometimes I find the best jeans and I love the polka dots they are currently doing so maybe I will grab some stuff this fall. I have the 10th circled too! I have been wanting to try butter london but the price is pretty high so that deal is great!!!
ps. I hope KD got an amazing new pledge class last night at bid day!

I keep picking up more and more bracelets and the trays I keep them on are getting a little crowded…so I definitely am going to look into a similar option! Old Navy is so hit or miss for me, but maybe I need to make a little trip 🙂 Thanks for the tip!

  31. I'll have to look for a bracelet holder on my next Marshalls trip. I love the bracelets too! I have an adorable bird jewelry stand, but I don't like it to look all cluttered, and it definitely is more for necklaces than for bracelets. 🙂 Have a lovely weekend!

  32. This post has given me ambition to turn my lazy Saturday into a shopping day…for better or for worse! Love, LoVe your bracelet stand and those Old Navy shirts. I will also be hitting up Ulta on Monday, too! I really need to pay more attention to the mailers they send out. Thank you for the heads up!

  33. I have a five drawer acrylic organizer that I keep all of my makeup in and it makes it so easy! I bought another one for my jewelry that I haven't started using it. I need to get on that, because seeing this post definitely makes me realize how much better it would be than my current bag situation.

I am also loving Old Navy lately too! Several things I've purchased and loved lately, and I have a few more in my online cart right now waiting to decide one.

I bought the Matched book when it was the kindle daily deal a few months ago but haven't read it yet. I've heard great things about it from my kids (I teach middle school), but I haven't had a chance yet. And yay for the Ulta deal! I am seriously loving your blog!

  35. I love that jewelry bar! I need something like that..right now I store my bracelets in an oversized coffee mug..It works but its not ideal! haha. I've given up on Old Navy in recent years, but now you're making me want to make a visit there! hmm….And also, I'm currently reading Crossed and finding it hard to put down – just like I did with Matched. I don't know how I'm going to wait til Nov. for the third book to come out. They are GOOD!

  36. I will have to check out those books! Love that jewelry box and I just might have to get that dotted chambray blouse! I recently got a pair of chevron-ish capris there that look just like something out of J. Crew, but they were $30!!!

  37. I just got a gorgeous Fall eye palette form Tarte at Ulta. Love your jewelry display and Old Navy finds! I have never found anything at Old Navy but then I always see bloggers posting the best finds. I need to look harder!
