Formal Dresses for Fall

If there’s one thing that’s difficult to shop for in the fall, it would be dressy/formal dresses. Inevitably, I always end up needing a few formal dresses each fall, whether for weddings or nicer events. The best place to shop for these fancy dresses, I’ve found, is actually the junior’s section! Specifically the junior’s section of Nordstrom, because you can find some great styles for a lot less money (and they don’t look like your typical junior’s dress). I’ve rounded up my top picks for formal dresses above, as well as accessories. And um, I’m ding a little bit over this leopard bow clutch!

On another note, I’m still recovering from NYFW (hence, no post yesterday!). I think I slept around 12 hours the first night I got back… it doesn’t help that I’m reading a really good book right now and want to read it every chance I can get!     The juniors’ section is a great place to find clothes, especially for petite girls. For taller girls, be cognizant of the length! Juniors clothing is often cut a lot shorter!

    I used to love the Juniors Section for sorority events! Super affordable and great dresses! One time I found a hand beaded 20's esque dress in the sale area for $40 when original retail was like $350! Best place to look!
