Every fall I invest in a few really good basics from Nordstrom – simple pieces that can be worn a zillion different ways and that will last the entire fall and winter season. And this outfit is made up of those pieces! This turtleneck sweater is less than $100, REALLY well-made and on top of it, sooo soft and cozy. Imagine all of the ways you can wear this simple sweater – with jeans, white pants, skirts and even some faux leather leggings. I feel the same way about my suede booties from Nordstrom – they were a little bit of an investment, but I have already worn them so much this fall, I’ve already gotten my money’s worth! Sorry if I’ve been wearing them TOO much 😀

Thanks so much, Andrea! I edit all of my photos with Lightroom! Unfortunately since the lighting is so different in every set of photos, I have to edit each set a little differently! I also really like the VSCO app on iPhone – the A and C filters are my favorite!

Hey Jenny, I bought a size US 2 in the sweater! And no, I don’t think it’s too late to plan a trip to New England, although I think next week would be the last week for good color! I think the peak has passed in the mountains and further up north, so you might want to look into lower Vermont, Massachusetts or Connecticut! 🙂
