5 Ways to Start Your Week Out Right

Neiman Marcus Last Call faux fur cape // suede block heel booties

Sunday is the most important day of the week. It’s a day of rest, a day to recharge your batteries and get prepared for the week ahead. Here are some of my favorite ways to start the week on a positive note!

Neiman Marcus Last Call is having an amazing sale today with can extra 60% off all clearance and cold-weather musts. These adorable booties are included in the sale, as is this cozy knit sweater. Since we still have a lot of winter left, it’s the perfect chance to stock up on more winter essentials!
2. Buy fresh flowers
I love going to the Fresh Market on Sunday to pick up groceries and I always end up purchasing a couple bouquets of fresh flowers (my favorite – pink roses!). I like keeping one bouquet on my coffee table and one in my kitchen. They look so pretty and cheery in your house, especially when you wake up Monday morning!

3. Start with a clean apartment

It may not be “fun,” but I always clean my apartment on Sunday afternoons. I do all the dishes, vacuum, organize and clean, with extra emphasis on my office. When I wake up Monday morning I’m ready to tackle everything the day has in store – and it’s much easier with a clean house and office!

4. Connect with a friend
On Sunday nights one of my bffs (that lives in another city) and I call each other on the phone and catch up. We always have so much fun talking to each other – we talk about what how our weeks were, share our prayer requests for the upcoming week and talk about the Bachelor or other girl stuff. It always starts my week out in the BEST way talking to her!

5. Plan your week on Sunday
I always plan my week out on Sunday evenings when it’s quiet and I can concentrate. If you try to do it on Monday morning, there are too many other things going on that can distract you. You will sleep better knowing the task is done and that you can wake up Monday read to tackle the week!

I’d love to hear your tips as well πŸ™‚
xoxo

This is unrelated, but you had mentioned making a big order from SheInside. Can you maybe tell me what you liked, what you didn't, and what sizes you ordered? I've placed an order there before, but you're right, it's hit and miss. However, I haven't been able to find any blogs that really talk about their hauls!

    Thanks!!
