Happy Saturday, loves!

Here are some OOTDs from the week :)

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend! My momma is on the way to see me right now. Can't wait for some shopping, good food and girl time with my bff!

Also - I'm thinking of doing a video tutorial for how I get my hair to curl. Would anyone be interested in that?
Let me know in the comments!

Friday Fives

EEP it's Friday! *happy dance* Here's what I'm loving:

One: J.Crew Factory

I recently picked up this {gingham button-down} at the outlet store and can not get enough of it. It's super, super comfy but also very versatile - I can dress it up or down.

Here's how I styled it for work on Thursday:

It also looks perfect with jeans, any color skinnies, or even as a bathing suit cover up. I love.

I also bought this {colorblock dress}. It might not look like much on the mannequin, but this baby is so cute on. I plan on wearing mine out with wedges and a cute handbag.

J.Crew Factory also sells this {chevron maxi dress} but in a slightly different color. I bought this one last summer and it's still one of my favorite dresses in my closet. So comfortable but also effortlessly chic.

Two: Peanut butter banana smoothies

Y'all know I've been on a smoothie kick lately, but this thing is to die for. It tastes sinful - like a peanut butter chocolate banana milkshake - but it's actually incredibly healthy.

In a blender, mix:
1 frozen banana
2/3 cup chocolate almond milk
2 tablespoons {PB2}
1/4 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
Handful of spinach

I topped mine with 1 tablespoon coconut flakes and ate it with a spoon. So delish!

Three: Greenville's new rooftop wine bar

I'm obsessed with {Sip}, Greenville's newest wine bar. It's on the roof of a building downtown, so I love going simply for the view! (Plus I'm a total wino)

The above is a picture from my friend's instagram (yup, that's me!). They have comfy couches everywhere and huge wine barrels throughout if you want to place your drink down.

Four: New spring goodies

Nothing says spring like a new pair of sunnies (these are Nine West), Essie polishes in {mod square} and {turquoise & caicos} and some {sparkly sandals}.

Five: The beach!
I am aching to go to the beach!! The beach is my happy place, and all I can seem to think about lately is donning a bikini and floppy hat and laying out in the sand all day. My family is headed to the beach for a week in May and I've already started planning my outfits for each day/night. Am I crazy? Someone please tell me I'm not.

What are you guys loving this Friday?

L.Mae Boutique Giveaway & Discount!

Happy Tuesday, loves!

Did everyone have a good weekend? I did - it's hard not to be happy when the sun is shining. This weekend was full of lazy spring nights, my favorite kind. The kind where it's warm enough to don a summer frock and spend a lazy evening on the porch.

Especially when that "summer frock" is an adorable dress from {L.Mae boutique}.

I'm obsessed with this dress. The loose overlay top and pleated skirt make it a perfect fit for everyone.

On my nails,  I used {Sally Hansen's Salon Effects strips}!

And you could have the chance to win a $30 gift card to L.Mae Boutique! I'm giving away two, so enter the Rafflecopter Giveaway below for a chance to win :)

WILW

Hey friends!

It's time for another edition of WILW. This week I have a lot to love...

1. Smoothies

{This single-serve smoothie maker} from Target is perfect for a girl on the go. It's super powerful for such a little thing and I just love the green color. It also comes with a lid and easily turns into a to-go cup!

I've had smoothies for lunch every day this week (beach season is coming, people!!). This one contained a frozen banana, frozen strawberries and mango, blueberries, spinach and apple juice.

2. Warm weather

I am seriously loving this warm weather lately. It's amazing how much happier I am when the sun is shining outside. I've used this opportunity to dress in lots of bright colors and even pulled out my spring bag.

Dress from {Vestique}

Stella & Dot bracelets {kate spade watch}

3. Sunnies

So I may or may not have a slight addiction to sunglasses.

Especially these {Karen Walker sunnies} in particular...

Two of my favorite bloggers from {Pink Peonies} and {Hello Fashion} have them and wear them beautifully. However, that $280 price tag is not quite in my budget right now. Le sigh.

Anyone now of a good knockoff pair?

4. Neons

Lately I'm loving neons, I think because they're so attention-grabbing and really show off a tan.

I'm dying for a pair of these {J.Crew neon skinnies}.

And if anyone knows the brand/color of a good neon pink polish, PLEASE share with me.

5. Weekends

Lately I've been living for the weekends. I love having the free time to do whatever I want, whether it's working out, cooking up a good meal or just being lazy around my house. This past weekend I attended a wedding in Charlotte...

Always have fun with this guy. ;)

What are you loving this Wednesday?

Avocado Egg Bake

I don't know about you guys, but when I get up in the morning the last thing I want to do is spend an hour preparing breakfast. Heaven knows I need my sleep (if I don't get enough beauty sleep, well, it's not a pretty sight!).

But speaking of beauty, this Avocado Egg Bake is a beautiful thing. Not only is it incredibly easy to throw together, but it's super nutritious - made of two superfoods guaranteed to make you beautiful from the inside out.

Eggs are loaded with muscle-building protein (6 grams per egg) and a great source of omega-3 fatty acids which play a crucial role in brain function. They're also rich in iron, phosphorous, selenium and vitamins A, B12, B2 and B5, among others.
Eggs are also a slimming food - they're extremely satiating and will make you feel full for hours!

Avocados are packed with vitamins, fiber and monounsaturated fat (the good kind of fat) that protects your heart from disease and improves cholesterol levels. And it really is a beauty fruit - it's known for its anti-aging properties. The D-manno-heptulose sugar found in avocados can actually prevent wrinkles and skin aging. Not to mention avocados are just plain dee-lish-ous!

You will need:
1 avocado
2 eggs
Salt and pepper
Desired toppings (I love Frank's hot sauce!)

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees
2. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit (here's a good tutorial)
3. Using a spoon, make a wider hole in the avocado so the egg will fit
4. Crack an egg into each half and sprinkle with sea salt and pepper
5. Place in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes

Let me tell you, the texture and flavor of warm, runny egg and avocado together is simply ahhh-mazing.

Feel free to experiment with the toppings. I love hot sauce, but I also envision this with bacon bits or a little bit of salsa on top. If you try a delicious combo, be sure to tell me cause I'd love to know :)

Mint + Peplum

I'm obsessed with mint. I'm also obsessed with peplum.

So what did I do when I found this mint peplum shirt?

Well... I bought it, of course.

And I don't know if I'll ever take it off!

And how pretty is this open back?

I even convinced my gorgeous momma to get in on a few pictures! How cute is  her {mint and navy dress} from J.Crew?

She's the most beautiful woman I know, inside and outside. Thank you for being my rock, momma, and loving me no matter what!! (And please don't get mad that I put your picture up!)

I'm headed to Charlotte again this weekend, but this time to celebrate a wedding! Does anyone have big plans?

And is anyone else as obsessed with mint as I am?!
