What I’m Loving

Hey bebes!
I always enjoy doing “What I’m Loving Wednesday” posts because it gives me an excuse to be completely random, and it’s okay! So I have some super random loves for you today.
1. {This monogram necklace} from Personalized From Me to You
I’ve been seeing these necklaces all over instagram and the blogworld, and now I finally have one of my own! I am SO impressed with the quality of this necklace from {Personalized From Me to You}, as well as the shape and size. Each necklace is hand drawn by the designer, so each one will look a little different. I love that because it gives each necklace character, and no two will be the same!
I went with the one-inch monogram on a twenty inch chain. I think it’s the perfect size, and the longer chain allows me to adjust the necklace if I want to wear it higher up. It’s also the perfect length for layering other statement necklaces!
Expect to see this necklace in a lot of future outfit posts šŸ˜‰
2. My May Book planner!
As you know by now… I’m slightly obsessed with planners, paper products, pens, etc. I ordered my first May Book planner a few weeks ago and adore it! The thing I love about May Books is you can customize the cover a million different ways. You can choose the colors, patterns, what you want it to say, and even down to what the pages look like inside.
I chose the academic agenda simply because there’s a monthly section and a weekly section. I use the monthly page for keeping track of big things coming up, while I use the weekly page to plan my week and write down the day-to-day things that need to get done.
Here’s a look at the weekly section. There are three lines devoted to each day, which is plenty of space to write down daily tasks and meetings. If you’re using it for school, you may have to write small to fit all your homework in, but since I’m out of school that’s not a big problem for me.
Visit {May Books} to design your own planner. There are so many pretty patterns, it’s fun to play around on!
3. Target now sells wash tape!!!!!!

Sorry for all the exclamation marks, but this is a topic that gets me extremely excited (perhaps a little too excited). But alas, its true: These colorful four-packs of washi tape can be found at Target for $4 each!
I have a slight obsession with this colorful tape. I use it in my planner, in my Bible, as a bookmark or to underline my favorite quotes and passages. There are so many creative ways to use it, people have come up with everything! (Just try googling “uses for washi tape” and see what you come up with.)
I picked up the blue pack the other day since I didn’t have any in that color.

I took a picture of the tape rolled out so you can see what it looks like. Washi tape is a tape made out of Japanese washi paper. It looks translucent when rolled out and it’s also removed easily, making it the perfect accessory to my planners and notebooks.
Now go along, run to Target and pick up a pack for yourself.
4. The salad bar at Harris Teeter

This one is a no-brainer. This is my ideal healthy lunch, filled with colorful fruits and veggies… and it tastes phenomenal. Now if only my bank account could afford me going to lunch there every day…
5. The last days of summer

Since fall is approaching soon, I’m trying to make the most of what’s left of summer. That means evening walks around the park, catching the last of summer’s rays by the pool, and spending lots of time with my family.
This picture of my mom and me is from a few weeks ago. Even though I’m looking forward to fall, I’ve loved being home for the summer!
What are you guys loving this week?
Love,
Cait

  45. Too cute. I found your blog a little while ago and am just now commenting. Haha! I'm in grad school doing medicine so I tend to do a lot of "blog reading" and less "posting". Sadly, I went from posting regularly to more like once or twice a month, but hey! It's still fun to read blogs. Yours has become a fave because we have very similar styles, and I love the "classy, Southern look". Keep it up! Have a great weekend!

I love anything monogram…and that necklace is the perfect way to showcase a monogram!
Also…I think I'm slightly obsessed with planners…and now with that tape!!! I would love to make some kind of wall or desk calendar where that tape could go to some good use
All about the salads!! It's what I order like 24/7
And cute pic of you and your mom, love the dresses you both are wearing šŸ™‚

  49. Okay I swear this is the last comment for right now (ha!), but I've become recently obsessed with Washi Tape too! I didn't know Target sold it, but I think if I came home with anymore my husband might think I've lost it. And my MayBook is on it's way to me! I've got to finish out my Erin Condren for the rest of this year, but I'm excited for a smaller book for next year. šŸ™‚ Have a great Sunday!
