Jewelry Holders

I love jewelry. Fashion jewelry, fine jewelry, antique jewelry – I love it all. If you’re like me, you probably have way more than you need. The dilemma is, where do you keep it all? The following are a few ways I’ve found to keep my jewelry organized and safe while I’m at home or traveling.

1. Jewelry Dishes
A few years ago, I found these porcelain dishes from Pier 1 Imports. I’m not sure what their intended use is supposed to be – maybe a spoon dish? All I know was that I fell in love with them and knew exactly how I wanted to use them: to keep my jewelry! I put them on my nightstand, so when I get into bed at night I can take all of my jewelry off and put them in the dish. That way, I don’t have to worry about my pearls rolling around on my bedside table and getting lost.

I fell in love with this dish for its dainty China porcelain.
I love the flower etchings on this one!
These cute dishes were each only $2.00. Can you believe it?
2. Earring Frame
This earring holder makes it easy to see all of your earring “options” by allowing you to display all your earrings at once. Not to mention it look so pretty sitting in your bedroom!

My friend made this one for me a couple years ago, and since then I’ve made a few and given them to my friends as gifts.
This is what it looks like sitting out on top of my desk.
They’re so easy to make! All you need is a picture frame, a stand, wire mesh, and a staple gun. If you all want, I could definitely do a “how to” post on how to make an earring frame similar to this one.
3. Jewelry Roll
My aunt gave me this jewelry present for Christmas this year. This particular brand is Raymond Waites.
This jewelry roll makes it so easy to travel with my jewelry! I use it all the time when I spend the night out, or going to and from school.
There’s a large zippered compartment where I keep bracelets and watches, a cloth tube to store rings on, two small zippered compartments, and a larger velcro compartment.
And look how cute it is rolled up!
If you’re looking for a new jewelry holder or organizer, there are plenty of options out there!
Here are my picks:
Medallion Mini Dish

Kate Spade Grace Avenue Ring Holder
Classic Jewelry Roll
White Dish Jewelry Tree
 JC Penney, $44.99
How do you guys store your jewelry?
Happy Monday!

Love, Caitlin

  5. I love all things jewelry so I love this post! I have a big fancy jewelry box that was a christmas present from my rents that I use at home, but I've struggled with how to organize my jewelry at college ever since I started! For Valentine's day my boyfriend gave me an adorable jewelry tree, which I love to hang necklaces, bracelets and rings on, but I'm still lost about earrings- although I love your frame, I might have to look into that- so cool! 🙂

  8. This is so cute! I like the picture frame idea for earrings. I keep my bracelets and earrings in this cute little wooden drawer organizer my mom got me a few years ago, and my necklaces I have hanging on pushpins on a corkboard so they don't get easily tangled–the problem with that thought is that they get tarnished a lot easier. I also have a small dish on my desk for my rings, bracelets, and necklaces that are my "every day" jewelry that I tend to wear a lot. I love all these pictures you posted!

    Thanks for the comment 🙂

  10. Great post–I especially love the earring frame! Another favorite jewelry holder I have is hooks for my necklaces. I got ABE hooks from Anthro and hang all my necklaces on them–it's quite lovely and makes it a lot easier to pick out necklaces!

  11. It's so hard lugging jewelry between home and school! At home I have built in storage in my dresser but at school I keep a lot of it displayed. A jewelry roll is so useful! I did a post awhile back about maybe getting a large jewelry trunk from Pottery Barn that could be used at both home and school.
