In honor of the royal wedding (13.5 hours to go!) this post is dedicated to Kate Middleton, and in particular, her hat collection. Kate’s style is sophisticated and elegant at the same time, and if you haven’t heard, her hats are making quite a buzz! The princess-to-be has been spotted several times wearing a fascinator hat, and according to CNN, the trend is starting to catch on in the U.S.
This one is made by Vivien Sheriff, but she also has been seen in Philip Treacy designs as well. In fact, Treacy has said he will be designing hats for some of the royal wedding guests!
In the U.S., fascinator sales have gone up tremendously, and they’ve been popping up in weddings and at cocktail parties. I love this one:
I’m not sure if I could pull this look off, though. However, I would definitely wear this hate of Kate’s:
It reminds me of Kentucky Derby! It would be beautiful paired with a cocktail dress. I have one that is similar, but in white, that I wore to a cocktail.
I’m planning on getting up at four a.m. to watch the Royal Wedding.. but we’ll see if that actually happens! I think I’m most excited to see her wedding dress.

I just love all of Kate's funky hats and WISH I had somewhere to wear one! And, I usually use bumpers too bowling, last night we didn't though, because I was the only one that wanted them, ha! Have a great weekend!
